I was playing a Renegade multiplayer game on [W3D.hub] Interim Apex (Tuesday March 5, 2024 at about 23:15 hours).  I had bought a Gap Generator (not sure if that's the proper name for it or not) and had parked it so that I could get a repair vehicle set up but during that time a player named Abuaker (not sure about the spelling) took the vehicle without asking and then within a couple minutes he had lost it to the other team (at the moment that he took it I tried "LOCK" and "kick" but it didn't work for whatever procedural error was on my part). So after it was taken by the other team I put a message to the team: "I need 1800 credits to replace my gap gen" (it was only us 3 players) and Awxyde replied "No you don't". And as I was discussing the situation with him (or attempting to do so) he swapped me to the other team (which certainly makes no  sense at all to me, since there were only 3 players in the game by now;  of course I just quit because I was too bent out of shape to even want to play).

I've spoken to Awxyde who said that taking other peoples vehicles without permission isn't against the rules (and I believe that it certainly should be). Nevertheless just taking someone else's vehicle isn't in the spirit of respectful team playing and its just sociopathic, despicable.  I also have the thought that it is against the rules because it is the very epitome of "TEAM HAMPERING" (stealing vehicles from people on your team and instantly losing them to your opponents seems to be the very definition of team hampering). Whether the Administrators of this server believe that taking team member's vehicles is just fine, good and ok, I don't.  It certainly should be against the rules but nevertheless it is a terrible way to play this game.  I also believe that a moderator should at least discourage the act of taking a team members vehicle without permission and certainly shouldn't be an enabler of it. I'm really disturbed about the situation. Its not the 1800 credits, its the point of taking someone else's vehicle without permission and without giving a hoot about the person who bought it. Its absolute disrespect, right in your face. And the secondary issue of a moderator posting impulsive and unprofessional reactions towards what I would define as a wronged player while in game.  And what in the world is the message being sent by switching me to the other team when it certainly had nothing to do with a balance issue?

Usually I just brush these things off with the realization that its a game and of course things are going to be annoying because its a game, its the nature of game playing.  But I'm going to post this in the hopes of actually having the issue addressed or am I going to have to put up with some sort of petty, juvenile retribution or other abuse of moderator authority because I've said something about it. I'm putting this post out here in order to try to eliminate something that is extremely frustrating to game players and not to start some sort of coordinated retaliation towards myself for speaking out.  I mean if that's what happens then so be it but I hope that you folks are above all of that.

In conclusion I will say that I am frustrated by this situation and that much is clear. But I also would like to take this opportunity to say that as moderators it would give people a better impression if moderators would handle situations like this professionally. Moderators should respect their position and not act like ill behaved school children at recess; moderators should hold themselves to a higher level of conduct. I mean in this situation a moderator clearly took the side of someone who was in the wrong.  It doesn't take some sort of degree in morals and ethics to see that taking someone's vehicle in game and for whatever reason losing it to the other team is messed up. And for a  moderator to leave the impression that the moderators are just "the good 'ol boys network' is very intimidating and off putting to people and they don't want to play on a server like that.  

You can handle this as you see fit but I just would like to say that to 'make a difference' you have to make a difference. I certainly am interested in seeing how this is addressed and I believe that it is important and relevant.  People just want things to be reasonable and not have to be subjected to childishness and wrong doing at every turn, while trying to have a good time playing a game.  Do you know what I mean?

PS I hope that "Awxyde' isn't assigned to reply to this.  I really am not interested in hearing how he justifies all of this messed upness to himself or hear a boat load of excuses.  I was doing nothing wrong and was wronged and that's all there is to it. Its the kind of thing that drives people away from this server and I can absolutely attest to that.  I am also not interested in having someone apologize, etc.  I want the situation to be corrected so that people don't have to deal with this sort of complete unsportsmanlike behavior.

Does anyone have access to logs to check if he used god mode to get into my tank as it was BEING DROPPED and steal it? Seems too suspicious since both teams knew that Bombers were coming.

Or maybe it was a really weird bug?

It has been a few months since I've been banned from the W3D Discord server. I believe that my time in the Gulag has reconditioned me. I will be a proper, normal citizen of the W3D Hub Discord server from henceforth should I be unbanned.

Tonight something got into this asshat that he started to TH on purpose. It started with me ending a game on Mt Pass, made most of the GDI players RQ and ended it with a 6v3.

After that on Industrial Strength it's me with MDK, him and Flareon that was afk. Mozard just AFKd inside a Wisel and told GDI what I was doing, where I was going, repairing tanks and giving them to GDI just to troll while laughing it off.

Both him and MDK are just borderline trolls and it screws up low playercount games since that's all we get nowdays.

Smurfers join only to break rules (illegal beacon, team hampering, etc).

The game was really close, we (Nod) had a very slim lead and could’ve won the game had we not lost the ref due to tunnel/ledge beacon. averagejoe21 joined with a smurf towards the end of the match and used a spy to purposely glitch a beacon either: a) on top of refinery b) under refinery’s tunnel c) inside the center chimney. I am guessing it was either b or c because he later was able to walk at ground level and was killed by ChiefChef. The beacon was NOT accessible by any means, you can look at my radar which suggests the beacon was either really high up somewhere, or really down deep in the tunnel.

After I asked nicely for mods to do something about, there seemed to be an indication that the nuke was indeed illegal based on some people saying it was ledge during the first part of the next game. As soon as the new match @ Industrial Strength started, I got hampered by ChiefChef, who drove in front of my arty to prevent me from shooting AGT. I am seriously doubting it was an accident like he claimed since he’s thrown shit at me before but w/e.

A few minutes later, as I picked up a stealth suit with Nod Commissar and I’m ready to rush GDI’s base, I spotted an empty tank in the field with very little health. I'm thinking of using it as I only need it to save time instead of walking to their base.

• As soon as I got in, it exploded because it had proxies on it. 
• The bot said JO_MOMMA_USA had put proxies on it and with the explosion I took significant damage in the process (more than 100 HP points).
• When I asked if flaming vehicles (putting timeds/proxies on friendly vehicles) was allowed, jo_momma answered no.
• I followed up asking nicely that if it isn’t allowed, why did he do it. I asked nicely just as I asked him to please take care of the illegal beacon situation in the previous game.
• As soon as I asked, he told me to stfu, denied it and called me a liar etc. 
• All I did after that was ask him, again nicely, to look at the logs. Pointed out that it did say that he had put those proxies on that tank.
• After some back and forth, polite on my end, he muted me without a warning or anything for the rest of the match.

Dunno how, but he is basically a mod in every major Renegade server. I don’t know why since he’s obviously not a good mod, but he must be familiar with flaming vehicle rules.

The next match, I joined as LOL_RETARDED_ because I thought I was still muted. However, the mute was gone or it was a timed mute. As I plowed through the enemy base and JO_MOMMA’s team in this new match, I let him know that I was going to report him for mod abuse and breaking in-game rules. In the end, I told him (nicely) that I would not deal with him anymore but that I would come here, and then he muted me again

He of course lost the match as I collected my 4th MVP in a row and I left. He stayed and kept raging after that. Someone was nice enough to provide this screenshot of what he said afterwards. (Idk if he did end up banning me but w/e, it’s not like it can rly stop me).

A little bit of context too, 2 days ago I joined the server and I was playing against Gsharp on Lake_Garden. Greyson joined shortly after that. JO_MOMMA joined and started messing with giving players credits. He broke the map and we were unable to collect credits anymore. So he skipped the map and Winter_Assault started. When Winter_Assault started he gave all players tons of cash and he gave cash to himself to do all upgrades. At some point, I asked what the heck was happening, and at the time I was playing with ign ‘sus’. I was Nod, so he switched teams and did the same for GDI. Originally teams were JO_MOMMA & greyson vs Gsharp and I, but he made it so it was Gsharp & greyson vs JO_MOMMA & me.

I did not record this match because I knew it would be an ass-rape (which indeed it was), but part of me also thinks that JO_MOMMA messed up the map dynamics because Gsharp and greyson never had a chance due to our upgrades and we ended up later with one extra player. IMO Nod upgrades > GDI upgrades. I may be wrong, Idc. The point is that I don’t think he should've !ftc’d people around without asking everyone, much less give people credits or himself credits to do all upgrades. He should’ve let the game run, it was way too easy and we wasted a decent chance for a balanced match.

It was at some point during this Winter_Assault match (2 days ago), JO_MOMMA boasted about having @Yap’s trust. He said that if he wanted to make something a rule, Yap would do it; and that @Yap told him to do as he pleased. If someone can retrieve these logs it would be great.

The point is that this guy clearly thinks he owns the server and can do as he pleases with no accountability.

He’s been told about it but he keeps doing it. Yap confirmed in the Discord channel that glitching beacons by partially destroying walls is against the rules. Here are two recent instances in which he’s done. My guess is that out of frustration.

Then we have the same people who are constantly just waiting for an opportunity to be with their buddies, or plain and simple switch to the other teams when losing. Awxyde, Gsharp, Threve, Thor, TottoRiina, NFHAVOC. They are constantly abusing !swap. The whole point of having a regulator is to have balanced teams and they circumvent it by crippling the game of any chance to have a balanced match. I don’t know who TottoRiina is, probably Adrian. Here in this instance he leaves the game as per usual so Gsharp can go to GDI with his buddies. Pretty sure they pm’d each other. Totto is always pm’ing me to go to his team btw, you can check other of my vids. When he rejoined, GDI had an extra player now.

The next match was the same thing (vid below, just look at the teams), at the beginning there was a swap fest and the game was severely stacked beyond recovery. When the issue was promptly reported on Discord not a single moderator ever addressed it. Two mods were in-game at that moment too, and were complicit about it since they were both on GDI in the same team, however they did nothing about it. 

Instead of banning me or muting me for rightfully reporting rule-breaking, glitching and abuse, you might benefit from moderating properly and impartially. Too often it is seen that mods are strict with only some people but completely lax and even encouraging when others break the rules or play dirty.

@ Kaskins  @ dblaney1 I am removing any upcoming non-scheduled Interim Apex content from my YouTube channel and Discord if things do not have significant change (e.g. reasonable response to these complaints, JO_MOMMA_USA removed, !mute/!ban removed). I’ve introduced many people to this mod and I do have fun sometimes; but given the circumstances you are not going to get any more new attention unless staff can address these issues properly. If the !mute/!ban stays, then well... you are basically asking for it. This will be my last thread about this and I'm going to ignore any unrelated replies.

Hello @ Adrian9112 . You were banned due to team imbalancing multiple times and this just being the final straw. You'll purposefully leave before someone joins so that they will join a different team due to how the team balance is automatically calculated on Renegade. We (Kickmofo and Voe) have told you multiple times to stop. Even getting to the point of banning you for a Month. Although I've also told you to stop in-game your response has been "Alarm" and "Whatthe".  So, you've been banned as a result of continuing to do this. You have even somehow managed to have been kicked by Yap?? Interestingly enough you also have used multiple I.P.'s to attempt to connect here.

You have a chance here to explain why you keep doing this and not listening to us.

Enforcement is also highly inconsistent when you're basically allowed to post the vomit emoji, which is honestly pretty frontal and graphic. But, it's clear the rule was entirely only made to target one member and one member only, rather than actually and responsibly take care of a community.

The enforcement of these sudden, vague "rules" that are not at all enlisted in the guidelines over perfectly harmless jokes that would be A-okay to see in a completely normal PG-rated film is unacceptable, furthermore that the mods then go to bend the definitions of existing guidelines in an attempt to justify this behavior. At this point, the mods are going on a full power-trip and being absolutely over-the-top and nailing down even just plain fine and innocent jokes, but also so far as to threaten with banning long-time established, even donating members as Sith when they haven't even broken a rule.

If you can't justify moderator action on something with proper and clear-cut community guidelines such as posting porn/gore, actual hatespeech or flaming, and essentially listen to a couple people who have a vendetta to enforce a witch-hunt because they want to? That's not proper, responsible moderation, that's abuse plain and simple. Moderators need to either enforce clear-cut and rational rules, or if those rules are not adequate in covering behavior that would otherwise warrant a reasonable response, then craft community guidelines that are properly airtight and easily understood by the community, as well as give the community a proper chance to read and understand those changes. Otherwise, the moderators should back off, and if this community wants to be taken seriously as a community, then they need to be held accountable for their actions.

As many of you know I am an old renegade player and I've just come back into the game.  I have contributed a lot to renegade in the past from being a moderator on n00bstories and mpf in the past as well as have made several mods for the old mpf sever (and my own for a time).  I have enjoyed playing again til tonight where I ended up in a game with an old player that doesn't like me and started harassing and kicking me, acting like they are legit reasons.  As those of you that know me know how I play know I am a good player and follow the rules.  Kickmofo kicked me for standing still long enough to look at tanks (less than 30 seconds standing still), and I heard no pm to see if I was there.  Since when is standing still in a nonfull server for less than a minute kickable?  He keeps acting like I'm doing things wrong when I'm not, and he won't stop! 

-kicked for picking tank

-threatened for profanity (was trying to use sound taunts i.e. bitch, lawn, etc.)

-threatens me in pm several times with only made up cause

-kicked me from game for team hampering because I accidentally called the wrong building (which was AFTER I stated the right building and I helped disarm the nuke beacon!  He also threatened me in pm that he was going to kick me if I called the wrong building again and did kick when I shouted for irc to see me ask him to stop harrassing me in public chat!)

It looks like he was possibly using some type of hack that bypasses mines.

On Orca Heights he was able to get inside the PP and destroy it via the MCT, despite the fact that both doors were still
mined.

I spawned in the base and decided to check the PP after it was destroyed as I'm just generally interested how people get in. However my mines were still there, above both doors. "How is this PP red with mines still at both doors, how did anyone get in here?", I thought. So I asked in public how he even got inside PP.

I now thought I could've been going crazy, as I was now not seeing my mines. But when I checked my screenshots I was right, my mines were there just a second ago. Unfortunately I didn't get a good screenshot of the left door showing the mines, but what you can see is the mines dissappearing with that electric animation. You can also see my message showing in public chat.

On the right door you see 2 mines on the side, I guess thats where he died.

On the left door I didn't get a good shot while the top mines were there but you can still see 3 mines on the side.
Was it mine limit and someone overmining? I doubt it, they don't go that fast. Do the server logs show the mine limit at this time?

I wouldn't mind the map change if we had a higher amount of players and could afford to lose a few if others joined later on. You got more chances of people joining with higher amounts of players than with 5 since there isn't much going on and people try to cheese a win as fast as they can.

I just got banned by Threve for RGH/ESP when I was playing on the Interim Apex server. I was on the server when the map was 'Scorpion_Hunters'.

I'm very confused, as I had played on the server previously after October the 30th. I do not hack or condone hacking.I have never hacked in C&C Renegade and never will.

I don't know why I got banned.

Crates don't spawn in that particular spot, they spawn further back intbetween the bases so it couldn't have been a crate that spawned on top of him.

There's a group of people including ElySpain, limado and wheresmymedal that keep doing stuff like this or glitching beacons in certain spots where you can't disarm them to kill the buildings. Threve warned them that glitching will be punished by a 24hours ban and they didn't seem to understand this.

It's condescending when you guys decide people you don't like get warned/kicked/banned for these rulings but others not only face no repercussions, they get a pass from administration. 

Please do not make me go through your gameplay rulings, your warn/kick logs, and IRC rulings to demonstrate hard bias within the administration. 

At one point I honestly got so mad I just raged at him in the PM telling him to lay down the f*cking game for a second and deal with him since he was doing it constantly for HALF AN HOUR.

It's also pretty contradicting to claim your hands are tied when choosing which content is appropriate for the server based on "muh complaints" then turn around and tell specific players they complain too much and that THEIR complaints are disregarded. Not sure what happened, played renegade fine 2 days ago, tried to join yesterday and get a you have been banned, try harder and change name next time or go hack in the campaign. Just wondering what I was banned for and what I can do to reverse it?

I got kicked tonight but KTFF (without warning) and am now in a 24-hour ban as a result. I don't want any sympathy and am not asking for any relief from this action. I want to explain the actions that led me here. First, please know that I am a super fan of Renegade and have been playing for 16 years. Much of this time has been on NewMaps servers which have always been my favorite. (Any remember the =UN= Clan? I was once a member of this...)

In recent years, I've been a regular on MPF NewMaps which apparently is a cuss word around these parts. I understand somebody stole something from somebody. I honestly don't give a shit about any of that. I'm not on IA's side vs. MPF's side. Seems like everyone else has picked a side which is weird. The whole renegade community no matter your side has less than 100 regular players so this whole side shit is just making things worse, but c'est la vie.

Tonight I was in the IA server playing a good game - about #2 or #3 on my team - and was bitching about how OP some tanks are versus others. I was in a Phase tank and killed in 1 shot by some GDI tank. Similar scenarios happened all the time and others were even complaining about how X tank was OP vs some other tank.

Maybe this is what everyone here wants, I don't know. Create a breed of super players who know the exact combinations of tanks to fuck opposing tanks, but to me, so much is overpowered, it's hard to play and enjoy the game. I was privately told by a mod who I knew from MPF that hopefully, the new update should help create balance? I sure hope so, but I'm not gonna wait around.

If you ask me (and no one did) please let me review pros/cons of IA server:

Pros:

• Cooler buildings
• Newer tanks
• More players most of the time

Cons:

• Terribly unbalanced gameplay compared to "normal" Renegade
• No criticism of IA allowed. It is perfect and any talk to the contrary will result in a kick or worse
• IA mods think so highly of themselves that default action is a 24h kick - no warnings or similar (again, see point 2)
• Whole IA community is rabid and will attack at any indication of not enjoying incredibly unbalanced gameplay

If you're still reading me, you're probably thinking two things. First, "what a fucking asshole this guy is, right? "(Again, how any criticism, even constructive criticism gets shut down here because IA is better than everything.)  Second, what does this guy want? That, there's an actual answer to, but no one wants to hear that either. IA is NOT PERFECT, and I'm sick of people acting like it is. I'm sick of people acting like IA has somehow "saved" Renegade. I'm sick of people who I know from MPF for years saying "oh, MPF stole 'our' maps". I'm sick of IA trying to segment the Renegade community.

I have been muted for telling the admin my structures did not team hamper.

I build bridges nexto bar to make a road around the base above the wall to defend from. Many times i created this without making the bridge as base lvl intersect with bar.

This time i did not prevent it because i had already tested if it hinders any Barracks spawners in any way. It did not. There for i took the quicker root to getting a ''highway'' road up.

Sadly a moderator named: ROZPIERDALATOR (whos also eager to afk kick without checking trough pms, amongst other things ive heard.)  Sadly he muted me after he told me with an AFK kick : Kicked for th go consider your mistakes. I rejoined and told him in all chat i did not team hamper and checked it it hinderred new Barracks spawner in any way. And that it did not.

After showing him this correction about '' theam hamper'' / (th)  In all chat he mtued me for.... defending myself or something.

He clearly is a bad moderator for multiple reasons. Aside from this i (may be ahrd to believe) But i valleu my name Timeeeeey.

Please unmute me under that name ingame , Thank you for your time. Btw it might be handy to add a Bann / mute section.
