  1. Ok I've been mapping quite a bit lately and have some maps that need testing.  For the GDI vs GDI maps the Green AGT will shoot its own team, when these maps are loaded on the server they will act like normal so please ignore that on those maps.

    Tib island and Nova G are early in the development (Tib Island really looking just for gameplay thoughts as nothing is set up yet) Nova G is pretty close to done.

Ok the name might have too much hype, I got a good idea for a map and can't not make it now.  It will be a very small version of detroit with like 1/10 of the stuff in it, basically I will be re using a lot of the assets like roads for example.  I decided carnage club is the best map of all time so I will be making carnage club (as it was from 2000 whenever)  It will have a custom exterior and will be the center piece for the map in between the two bases with tank paths around the outsides of it.  Should be high action stuff. Heres a little teaser as well. Obviously won't be done anytime soon and will be much (somewhat) more polished. You have played this game for 20+ years so whats a coupleweeks to wait for a new map. I can't stop myself...

  3. I’ve been a long time map maker for renegade and was looking to convert some of my maps to APB.

    I have the apb sdk and I also have a version of level edit that was created by zunnie for MPF.

    not sure if I will need to get rid of that version of level edit or if I can have both.

    also many of my maps wer made in gmax I was wondering if there are apb building files in gmax form.

    so I guess what is my next step from here to start modding for apb?

  4. So i've done the alpha blend for textures a million times, this time i did it the same as before 2 pass textures check alpha blend etc.

    Usually where I vertex paint the texture is 100% visible, this time its only like %50 percent visible through the base texture and I have no idea why.  Here are the pictures to see the areas in question, in gmax and then in LE.

    as  you can see the gravel texture should blend to itself on the meshes next to it but it just isn't coming through 100% any thoughts? I also tried messing with the settings in LE like the compute vertex solve etc.

Hello, I'm a map maker for renegade over at MPF.  I was closely working with zunnie on many projects and his wealth of knowledge helped me create some fun maps for the community.  I'm coming here as he won't be around to answer questions I have.  If this isn't the right forum please let me know.
