  1. Hello there! I have recently discovered how to play almost every C&C game with a controller via steam. Here's a tutorial that explains better than i can on how to add Non-steam games to your steam library: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?Refinery=2219-YDJV-5557 (Notice: You cant use the w3d hub launcher to play, you have to go and find that game in w3d's files. (You may have to do this with other C&Cs too.)) After that you will have to turn on big picture mode, via the view part on steam. Then go to the library and find the game, here is when you can map the controls to how you like. After that you are finally able to play almost every C&C on contoller.
  2. Here is another one joke, lol. When a lot of old school gamers were angry at C&C. Well, I partially explained a plot of C&C4 in this video, but not much.
  3. This is some funny and old video I found in my account. Sydney gotta go fast, ha-ha!
  4. And Red Alert 2 again! Two-three days of work, but I have to say that wasn't too hard to remake this. Unfortunately, original vibe is gone, but kind of good experiment with guitar. http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/solomusic/Grinder.mp3
  5. I like to revive some of old tracks... they never die. The first version of this track was a part of D&L album which I released in 2010. So, 8 years have passed, and I made this remake: http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/solomusic/River_Tunnel_2.mp3
  6. And Red Alert 2 again. I released new remake. More powerful than Motorized! It took from me almost one week to remake it and to change some things a bit. http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/solomusic/Burn.mp3 INSANELY HARD WORK...
  7. LEAD THE TRIBE Listen on Soundcloud Download from website This is something new to hear from me while I am working on Extreme Coop. Experimental track for sure. I think, I will upload this later to YouTube too.
  8. http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/solomusic/Meltdown.mp3 Background is nonsense. Music is... I think not =D
  9. And "2080", as you may guess, is an instrument from Roland soundbank.
  10. Unusual mix made by me and inspired by two soundtracks at the same time. I was experimenting with Dune universe, and I tried to put some Red Alert style inside. Suggested as a music for "Expanse RTS" videogame. VSTi "Synapse Audio Software DUNE I" is included, as well as classic Roland sounds. Frank Klepacki, however, is using SAS DUNE II. As he said, it is more comfortable to use, and it has more sounds. https://soundcloud.com/user-193337613/insidious-night http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/dune_st/Dune_-_Insidious_Night.mp3
  11. http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/solomusic/Motorized.mp3 I spent few full days on it... and I finally made it recently! Never did remakes of songs from C&C Red Alert 2 OST ("Destroy" from CnC 64 Memorial does not count, it was just an experiment). Still catchy, even simplified.
  12. I recorded it half a day ago, but composed even earlier. Harmonica with slap bass guitar, simple rhythm, sweet nostalgic pad and other sounds. And again, inspired by Command & Conquer Red Alert.
  13. http://download.ccassault.com/museum/music/solomusic/Metal_Ground.mp3 After winter holidays, I was trying to make something new. As a result, I composed this simple melody and published in VKontakte as usual, but only today decided to publish it in YouTube. Inspired by one of my favourite universes which is Command & Conquer Red Alert.
  14. There's a game I've seen played on multiple forums through out the age of man in various forms, so I'd like to try making a version for our use. For practicality, I'm calling it the three word story. The story is compiled by splicing together everyone's consecutive input. Each participant posts a three word line with tasteful punctuation and such cut-offs when there is a need for it. Every next post must build upon the last post's three word line. You don't need to copy the text, just post a continuation. And please don't double post, you only get one line at a time. Let's keep it C&C oriented so we get something unique. But please keep it somewhat of a coherent storyline (example: don't kill off our main character as a joke). We'll compile the posts and post the full story by editing this first post every now and then. If two posts get sent in at the same time, we'll try to splice them in, so watch out for that notification! We'll end the story when we feel its potential has been exhausted or it comes to a good conclusion on its own. Note that you can drop in and out of the game as you please, just hop on and make a post whenever. No need to announce yourself. Example of how the game works: POST 1: A Nod cyborg POST 2: was making a POST 3: snowman when suddenly POST 4: he got EMP'd. POST 5: He exhaled, deeply, POST 6: only to realize POST 7: he didn't know POST 8: if he would POST 9: ever finish his POST 10: snowman. GDI was POST 11: the culprit. They POST 12: snuk around him... (ect.) We'll flesh out any additional pointers and rules as we run into bumps in the road. We'll refine the guidelines along the way. Additionally, if you feel like commentating about the game, make sure to first include your three lines clearly at the top of your post separated from your thread comment so it's easy to collect all of them for compiling, maybe mark it in the gold text color like the following. Let's see how this goes. I'll start: A disc thrower THREE WORD C&C STORY Compilation #1 NOTE FOR STAFF: Feel free to edit the story compilations above by writing in the missing pieces whenever you feel like it.
  15. And oh yes, it is! Roland JV-2080 included as well as a vibe from Red Alert.
  16. Available for free download. Inspired by, but not too close to TIberian Sun. Did a different melody this time, a little bit emotional, soft, and bright. It has a short length, but anyway, I decided to publish it
  17. Unfortunately, I can't share any stuff faster, because I am mostly online in social network which is limited in sharing music, so from time to time I also upload songs to Soundcloud (only own stuff) or YouTube (anything). And surely to my personal webpage. Such as this simple remake of Scout from Tiberian Sun. I slightly touched the original melody and recorded result before Twilight Flood came out. By the way, I recently updated my music section. For today, I am preparing few new C&C-inspired melodies and remakes.
  18. I have returned from summer cottage. With this. Absolutely new song for the fans of Tiberian Sun. Something like psychedelic ambient with groovebox drum machine effects. Vacation was totally worth it.
  19. You maybe believe it, but I cannot. Roland JD-990 and JV-2080 that I bought are the dream of my arsenal of sounds. After Red Alert remakes, this is probably the best of my works. If there will be possibility to remake some of Tiberian Sun tracks... who knows! P.S.: Interesting fact, and I know it from Frank himself: some names of instruments were chosen as titles for songs for Red Alert OST. As I discovered, "Terminate" is a soundscape instrument included with standard soundbank of JV-series, from which that song starts. And so on.
  20. Imaginary Frontiers is my unofficial addition to Digital Frontiers, the musical solo album composed and released by Frank Klepacki in 2016, and also a little gift to him. Imaginary Frontiers has the best quality and grooves of my little studio, and it contains influence from Frank Klepacki's early works for Command & Conquer Red Alert up to his late solo works and game soundtracks. Inspired by Unreal Tournament and some chill-out and ambient songs as well. Imaginary Frontiers also partially includes original synthesis and instruments that Frank Klepacki used in his melodies. Suitable for mods and games of Command & Conquer series and not only for games, so you can use it in your projects if you want. Still making new tracks and adding them there, still exploring many ways to use Frank Klepacki's equipment and sounds. Donations are much appreciated. https://grayasdf.bandcamp.com/album/imaginary-frontiers Frank Klepacki: "I was able to hear everything. Nice. I appreciate the gesture, and I hope it continues to drive you to keep creating and improving. If you ever decide to take any music classes like theory and orchestration, a new world will open up to you."
  21. https://www.facebook.com/groups/750508484985695/ Official trailer is under spoiler: Official music is under spoiler: "This game is designed for fans of old school Command & Conquer. But we decided to bring this universe to mobile devices. We try to show as much as possible in the game the same thing that was in Red Alert 2. We again touched on the subject of the Alliance and the Soviet Union. The game's plot is simple, and the confrontation begins." This cheap game brings back old-school real-time voxel strategy, and it is designed to play on almost any mobile device with Android 4 or iOS installed. Also available as PC-version for VKontakte social network and for Steam. Its successor is Expanse RTS. Both games have multiplayer 1 vs 1, units with their own positive and negative sides, dynamic battles, interesting missions, bonuses that you can get by completing the mission, periodical updates... just great videogame to play! So, what do you think? =)
  22. http://www.moddb.com/mods/cc-assault http://en.ccassault.com Commando Assault is a mod which was first released in 2010 for C&C Renegade. And it allows to build up base from scratch on Westwood 3D game engine. Inspired by Battlezone series of videogames. Has its separate music (including Frank Klepacki's works that he exclusively approved for this mod, some of my remakes of his famous songs and even my new melodies) and unique features. Want to speed up construction rate to reduce time you are waiting for new purchase that you made? To capture existing building or steal it while it is not deployed yet (or even MCV)? To drop player-controlled tanks in the rear of enemy base? To win with one useless structure? You have all in one. Welcome back again, commander, crush your enemies with your own 3D-hands and lead your forces to fight. More tactics, more fun, more teamplay. Some videos are under spoiler: Feel free to discuss and share this stuff =)
