There seems to be an issue when using custom reticles. They are not being displayed correctly. Something must've happened within the past year because I had no issues with this last year around the same time. I'll provide a couple of images below. In-game What it should look like (no centre dot because it's its own file) This same issue is happening with every custom reticle I try to use. It seems that the game is trying to force them to look like the default reticle's style.

After some messing around in the settings of ECW, I found and set the multi-sample anti-alias in the BHS.dll options. Now whenever I try to load the game, it always gives me a black screen. Not even the known ways of working around the black screen issue in 'Testament's Tips on Surviving ECW' work. Now what?

Help How do I get this game to stop downloading into C Drive?

I have two computers. One that sucks but has lots of harddrive space, and one that is decent but has NO harddrive space, but I have a memory stick. I tried running this game on sucky PC and WOW yah its unplayable. So I copied the W3D Hub game folder plus the documents W3D Hub folder onto memory stick, plugged it into decent PC, copied documents W3D Hub into appropriate location on C drive (it has very little space, less that one gigabyte so the download will never work) left W3D Hub game folder on memory stick, open Launcher, go to A Path Beyond, but it still wants me to install, which starts the downloading process. I cannot join the online game without clicking install, but since it automatically installs to my C drive, my C drive is almost full, theres not enough room for your launcher to download files that which I already have. How do I tell the launcher to save files elsewhere? Or, how can I bypass that downloading stage (as its redundant) and simply get the damn launcher to realise that I ALREADY HAVE ALL THE FILES! I WANT TO PLAY!! I tried joining the game on shitty computer (it barely runs, stuttery, laggy as shit) and talked in the chat windows, but no one would help, one guy said to post here so I did. -
Hey guys i need some help, My game doesn't seem to work as it only shows black screen when i'm in game, like the actual in game where you load the map. its just black. ive repaired, run as admin, changed settings from high to low and vice versa, compatibility mode, everything and still doesnt work. Also my game doesnt work(and by work i mean get into the game but still stuck with a black screen unable to pick teams or walk or anything) unless i tick on dedicated server. otherwise if i tick off the dedicated server and press start it just crashes saying "Renegade has encountered an internal error and is unable to continue normally" I can get in on online servers tho like i can actually play fire and stuff and not just black screen. Dudes, I have a problem with W3DHub launcher. I have 0.7.3.1 installed, but it is asking me to update every time. If I do allow it to update, I get this: If I abort the update, launcher starts in offline mode. I am using Windows 10.

Good morning all. I'm trying to install the latest and greatest update to ECW in order to play the game however it is not allowing me to install the Always.dat 2 / 3 . zip It downloads all of it however it just says "Failed" whenever its done downloading all the content. So it's an issue of installing it. To remedy this I have tried to click "fix" and reinstalling it but to no avail. It was working before I had to update so idk whats included with this update but it isnt' going to compatible with my computer. I will try a couple more things and report back if I find a solution but please help if you know anything. Thank you.

Here is a zip of 3 crashdumps I just had on Pacific Threat. I heard we can debug those again now. I tend to crash pretty often on various levels. It makes my whole graphics driver lock up and have to reset. I have a Nvidia GTX 750 Ti if that helps. crashdump.zip

Hi everyone, I have this Installation Failed problem whenever W3D Launcher has finished downloading the files and then installation always fails when installing "msvc-2013.zip". It won't go anywhere beyond that point. *Here's what I've tried to fix the problem but to no avail: - I have cleared the APB cache, deleting everything in "C:\ProgramData\W3D Hub\Launcher\package-cache\games\apb" - Re-downloading all Red Alert APB files through the launcher, no download problems. - Download finished smoothly but installation fails every time when installing the "msvc-2013.zip" - I've repeated the steps above for 4 (four) times and still stuck on failing to install the "msvc-2013.zip" Hope anyone knows a workaround for this problem. So recently, I noticed that Red Alert: A Path Beyond got an update, but when I tried to update it, it keeps saying "Installation Failed". I checked the details and the file "RA_RiverRaid.zip" was failing to install. All of the other files that it listed were marked as "Downloaded". It's annoying because now I can't play. If someone knows what's going on or has a solution, please help.

When I'm trying to do the tutorial, the game crashes, I made it through the first part for parachutes, but the second one hit me next. I do have a crashdump for it now. will be in the spoiler box so it doesn't show up as a massive wall of text. will report more bugs when found. Tanks.

The versions of the launcher post 7.0.2 crash when I try to view the server browser. Visual Studio offered to run a debugger and came up with the following exception and to break the operation when this occurs Running with visual studio did not bring about this error.

I stumbled across someone's Medal of Honour Warfighter profile page and noticed that there is an animated American flag behind his soldier. I figured out that that whichever country you represent that flag is shown here. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/mohw/soldier/txarngsf13/stats/890011176/ps3/ My request is can someone find the flag line when viewing the page's source? I want to save these animated flag images for use elsewhere. I tried looking myself but I'm not familiar with this stuff. Thanks.

Hey I'm having trouble logging into the launcher and my username and password haven't changed to my knowledge. Anyone else with this issue? I use the same login on the launcher I use for the forums so they should both be working.

What is block cheat and why is it banning me when I'm not cheating or anything(I'm able to join when I try again)? Why do I sometimes get an Invalid name error message when I got to join in(Also able join when I try again)?

Hey, as of last night the forum has been slow to submit posts, getting stuck on 'saving' after hitting the button. It'll stay for about 20 seconds then either submit or freeze.

A long time ago, I had an IRC javascript that could be loaded into my Chatzilla client. I could run APB and pass parameters with this script by typing in a command, like the following: !apb <server> <name> This would translate to "C:\Program Files(x86)\W3DHub\A Path Beyond\game.exe" +connect <server> +netplayername <name> The script would store a preset list of server IPs that I could have names for and store the path to the exe. I could use additional commands like: !path <gamepath> !server <ip> <nickname> A real-time command, in this case, would be: !apb official Jeod Where 'official' would be the official server IP and the name would be my username. In the back-end, the result would be: "C:\Program Files(x86)\W3DHub\A Path Beyond\game.exe" +connect 178.162.193.144:9016 +netplayername Jeod I don't recall how I made this. Is someone out there knowledgeable enough to recreate this?

Well, hello, my friend cant install APB (TSR was installed correclty tho) it crashes during a patch installation (he doesnt remember which one), just after always.smth Antivirus awas disabled and w3d was runned as admin He has already tried a trick from here, but still failed please help Aaand there are some files u may need: errors.log diagnostics.log

The kitty of death has returned! So after a hiatus from FPS video-games entirely, I've decided to come creeping around old haunts again, and ofc I come back here! Y'all care to please inform me as to what has happened with all you and the game as well. I'm already acquainted with the new guard duty and the hilarity that is lunar paradox (I see some new logic there pushwall) but other than that no clue what has happened. I left when raap revealed the siege guns for RA_Seige, that is the last thing i remember. Also this community mafia... how does one join such madness? And what happened to hostile waters!!! TY in advance.
