An approved and custom HUD for Interim Apex. Quite a popular HUD in the renegade but becoming harder and harder to find. This HUD was originally not created by me. I took some of the Old APB HUD Metal Edges and implemented it around the corners of the layout. Features include - Better Radar Layout with less intrusive background - Darker GDI Gold and Nod Red Text to help display better on your screen. Also brighter Mutant Green displays on radar to see Viceroids better. - Custom Icons to help display Vehicles, Buildings, Infantry and Beacons better. - The numbering of your Armor is displayed more clearly - Metal Edging alongside the HUD Layout to help better define the box sectors. To install, simply follow these instructions. You're going to take the files from the folder and drop them into your IA DATA folder. Navigation there is as follows. This PC>Computer R (C:)>Program Files (x86)>W3Dhub>Games>ia-release>IAFiles>InterimApex When Interim Apex is updated. You will have to redownload this and install it again. This is due to the update replacing all the files over again. I apologize for the inconvenience. (Big thanks to MoltenJam for enabling the text for weapons and Dblaney1 for fixing it up so it actually works with the IA UI!)
  2. Ok, Here's The Run-Down, I'm Trying To Play RA3 With Mods, I've Made A New Profile, Deleted The Skirmish.ini File, But The Mods Won't Work (Except Shock Therapy) The Custom Menu Screens Won't Show Up, Mods Like Epic War Just Crash My Game When I Try To Start A Skirmish Match, And Some Like Paradox That Let You Start A Match, But The AI Won't Do A Thing! What's Happening?! How Can I Fix This?! (Basically, I'm Not Getting These Menues In The Picture Provided, And Mods Are Crashing)
  3. An old web site called CnC Source is where you went to talk on forums and get mods for all the CnC games. that web site is fizzling pile of mould now that's falling apart the last i checked. IT was a nice big one stop shop. Now EA could care less about the franchise. The community is not where it used to be and looks little scattered to me. I found this site and another one a few years back called strike steam portal for multiplayer and or mods. I also saw that EA put Tiberian Sun out for free as shareware few years ago and pulled the DL link after a year or 2. Would any of you whippersnappers care to tell me about the popular communities, forums and or subreddits you frequent and what's changed since the 2006?
  4. Greetings! We are currently in the early stages of implementing a new launcher feature which will allow players to automatically download, install and update their favourite game modifications and are looking for community submissions to form the basis of our opening day library of mods. Initially we are only accepting submissions for Tiberian Sun: Reborn modifications which meet the following criteria; Must be compatible with the official TSR game server Must NOT exist soely to provide an advantage over other players Must only contain files which go into the data folder for the game May contain textures May contain sounds / music May contain strings.tdb (ie: a language pack) Must NOT contain ini files Must NOT contain mix/pkg files Must NOT contain model replacements (new models that don't replace any existing model is OK) To submit a mod for consideration, please provide the following; A zip archive containing all the data files used by your mod A name and description for your mod A screenshot showcasing your mod Optionally you can provide a version number, if you choose not to we will label it as version 1.0. Version numbers must be numeric and consist of between 2 and 4 numeric parts. Only the content creator can submit content and all submitted content will remain the property of the creator. The content creator will be clearly credited in the mods browser and will have the ability to update their mod in future via a web based interface. If you have any questions about this process, please feel free to ask
