TSR 1.1.4 Hotfix 1

We've just released a small hotfix to TSR version 1.1.4 with the following changes;

  • Nerf disc explosions in line with rocket soldier
  • Further reduced effectiveness of repair warhead on vehicles (by around 50%)
  • Cyborgs and Cyborg Commandos can now be repaired by MRVs
  • Fixed missing flight ceiling on TS_Snow
  • Fixed missing flight tunnel blockers on TS_Field
  • Fixed Jesus water on TS_Under

The inability for hero units to refill is something we're continuing to experiment with, hence the MRV change which gives the CyCom a counterpart to the Medic. Let us know how it plays out.

Thanks for all your feedback so far, we're in the process of reviewing it and deciding what changes we want to make for the next patch. Keep it coming, it's very useful for guiding our balance decisions.

you need to hotfix the officer weapon bug. When you get promoted to veteran rank while you use the AA launcher, you first lose your machine gun and while you try to change to your lost MG, you lose your AA launcher, too. So you have to hang arround with these over powered binoculars.^^

What about maps where MRV is N/A? I strongly suggest that the tiberium healing should be increased so that hero units (esp. CC) doesn't have to wait minutes to get full HP on infantry maps or when the WF dies out.

Then they'd just flock to a tib field where they'd be invincible to just about anything short of a 1h-KO headshot. A whole different issue.

Let's not exaggerate things ;-)

 

If the hero unit is already damaged to little health, obviously the tib field will not help if he is still getting attacked anyway, but then maybe instead of sitting there for two mins he can only wait only one max. If their intention is to camp the field from the start, they can do it in full health as well and that's where both heroes would have advantage anyway. Once again GS does not have to wait at all because of medic but CC already has a penalty for healing in both tiberium (lots of hp, no armor) and a need for MRV which is limited.

 

There was an idea about techs/engies giving ability to heal cyborgs, maybe restrict it to engineer only to balance the medic counterpart?

NaokiP is right. The whole system is so fragile. Just let it as it is now. MRV and medics will be more important, and so teamwork is more important for these hero units.

engineer briefcase have a huge impact on buildings now. Please nerf it! And buff the disc thrower a bit again. its useless now
