I think the only ones who have any real chance of being scum are chaos, KY, and mojo. It always changes in response to some action you do, much like how I think the item abilities react to some general event in the game. I just googled it and I couldn't find anything about it. For example, Mojo could call someone with his phone and nightkill someone as well. But even if that's not the case, I still think Cat5 or Vert would be more viable suspects.
