HGSS came out close after DPPt and they were amazing, so it's easy to get your nostalgia mixed up.

DPPt had so much of the game built into events though. Darkrai, Shaymin, even Arceus. A lot of it meshed with HGSS. I hope they streamline how those things work, because I liked the sidequest/lore stuff--more postgame things to do.

How's Fire Emblem going? I got back into Pokemon Shield a bit today and realized I have a massive amount of expansion pass content I haven't finished.
