  1. Short answer: yes. Long answer: It's complicated. Just because I target you doesn't mean the power will be shared.
  2. There are benefits to being a vampire. In WoD, vampires have a few ways to share their power.
  3. I can use it once per night, every night, and sometimes the target gets a handy gift afterwards, but that part shall remain secret for now.
  4. Blame Jeod for tossing in a hand grenade before the ink was dry on the day star post.
  5. I did ask that specifically. Mine does protect. (RIP me)
  6. It doesn't specify. I suppose it could be a good effect, but I've been assuming it's a bad one. TBH my assumption is if I target a certain person I die.
  7. Also, my Capture Patient specifically says "Hidden Effect on certain target". Given Shade claims to be an organization not a person, I figured it might be him and I don't want to risk it.
  8. Oh, so you know about that. Well, I just assumed, and you know what they say about assuming. Good luck next night though. I figured the more "dramatic" figures would be caught up in a large web of who knows what. Given this is CYOR, best to steer clear of that, and go for some of the less obvious angles.
  9. Don't know, though I'd say with 80% certainty it's me visiting them mechanically. I guess it's obvious by now
  10. The asylum was just incidental, really. Though given that a vampire passes down their clan, the fact that a malkavian was taken to one makes a lot of sense, hence why that specific type of vampire was involved.
  11. I'm specifically a jailer, and a little extra. That's why it's important to see how everyone reacts, to determine if the possible lack of night kill is due to the target being the target.... or the aggressor...
  12. My character background is a psycologists from the 1920s that ran an asylum and got bit by a patient. He takes a scientific view of vampirism and wants to find a cure.
  13. Shade, let me get this straight, are you claiming jailer too?
  14. Well in Nodlied's last game there was a way to see action names. I was trying to figure out how he could get "killing" from "Capture Patient" which is the name of my action.
  15. I'd like to hear you press some of your theories first that you mentioned in your night post. I'll give you a hint in that I followed one of the leads you picked up on. Getting reactions out of all parties before I reveal is vital.
  16. Good, because if you did investigate me, maybe you can actually back me up now that I've outed myself.
  17. I'm a jailkeeper, I experiment on patients in my mental asylum, because I'm a very specific vampire, Malkavian Primogen Alistair Grout. If I wanted to hide I'd have jailkept Jeod, but I didn't, I welcomed his investigation.
  18. So here are some serious thoughts I want to get out there, in case of my untimely demise or something. Verti can still be third party. Indeed, IMO unlynchable is something that third party would have more than town, though I don't think pure scum would have it. However, there's nothing we, or at least, I can do about it at this time. Therefore I won't harp on it. Best we can do is just ignore him if he continues to be unhelpful. Maybe someone else can do "something" about him, but there's not enough out there to even speculate on that, at least from my perspective. Then we have ILTS, the other side of the lynch tie. I don't have much specific to say, other than he wasn't cleared. I suspect he'll be a hot topic tomorrow, and I can't really add much that hasn't already been said, so I'll just highlight him and move on for now. Instead, I want to talk about Chopbam. His joke vote might be deflection. If ILTS is actually town and his gambit works like he says it does, plus with Shade's panic about Verti, Chopbam might be scum positioning himself to be outside either of the two vengeance circles. Not fixing your cart to either wagon and/or hiding in activity is always a possible scum strategy anyway. I think D2 he needs more scrutiny. Now, the same could be said of Nodlied being outside the two trains on Shade, but I think Shade was a much more valid vote. Some people suspected Shade, and at the time he was a possible train that could have taken off, and Nodlied didn't appear to be back for the conclusion of the day, so I think his positioning was a little more valid. I will say I personally Shade has been pinging me a lot less than he usually does this game, though that doesn't mean he's off the hook. That's all that I feel is *vital* to say while I can. If I'm still around next day I'll respond to any questions then once the post limit is rescinded. For the record, I don't *seriously* think I'll be offed, but it's a possibility, especially in CYOR.
  19. Well it was a joke vote IMO but a joke vote is still a vote. Joking can be used as deflection.
