I was totally thinking the same when I first read it (I think that's because there are still 3 months left for my birthday); then I realized that I shouldn't care since I'm neither an future applicant nor a "natural" for the 3d arts

 

But I guess the "Age over 16" is because people over 16 are usually more mature than 13 years old children who rather bitch about how cool are their stats on the server than actually care about a serious work.
