Can you pick up units with the chinook?

I remember seeing it be done to drop shield generators on the enemy base in one particular game long ago.  Was I imagining things?

You should be able to, unless that changed at some unknown time. I think it requires both players to press the keybinds needed, otherwise you have chinook pilots picking everyone up like eagles snatching their prey lol.

Do you recall what button it was?  "T' is already taken for toggling manual aim on the chinook's tertiary guns.

Dang.  It would have been fun to GTA the enemy's vehicles that they leave parked around their base.
