[Not Enough Players?]

I think you guys should all make posts on Reddit & other communities related to gaming to spread the word. Everyone involved with W3D did such a phenomenal job with the games & servers but I never knew about it so I think that's the issue that's really keeping the number of players small.

 

Not that people wouldn't want to play, just that many people aren't aware but if someone made posts about it every once in a while in other communities & social media then it would definitely reel in more curious players as I'm sure many would be extremely surprised to find that Renegade is still online & kicking.

Sounds absolutely massive! Can't believe they had something so elaborately deep with the entire story being lodged in between 2 games bridging the stories together to make more sense of the C&C universe.

They were going to have a 3rd faction also? Would have loved to see how that could turn out in multiplayer servers. Probably something like Planetside I imagine.

Wow that sounds so awesome, I would have loved to play that! Looks intense to be honest & not at all what I'd expect from Renegade but in the best way possible.

Oh I didn't even know there was supposed to be a Renegade 2 thought I probably did hear some rumors by word of mouth back in the day so my mistake for thinking that was supposed to be the original Renegade.

Wow look what Renegade could have been? Never seen this video before so excuse me if it's been posted but man Westwood had some great ideas for this game. Look at some of those models, textures, lighting & effects. Looks unreal to me today but would have been mind-blowing back then. They even had plans to have Tesla Tanks in there?

Man this makes me think what Renegade could have been like now after all these years of playing & loving it the way it is.

Never thought I would wonder about this to be honest as I randomly came across this video since I don't usually seek out gaming videos but thought this was neat.

From my experience, uninstalling the previous install and then installing the  W3Dhub launcher and installing through the Interrim Apex tab section worked for me.

If you have custom settings I could understand wanting to transfer over the files.

Thank you for your quick response, I have uninstalled & installed Interim Apex like you said & the button is no longer greyed out & I can successfully join the server again! :D

Or are you saying when I uninstall then reinstall it to the Games folder in Windows? I made a thread for this before I saw this post, though I did look though both pages to see if anyone else had this issue before posting.

I have reinstalled W3D Launcher & updated it, logged in but I still can't log into the server anymore. It was working just fine months before but I can't join Interim Apex Server anymore but can still join the others just fine through W3D & Renlist.

I would love to keep playing on that server. It was a whole new Renegade experience.

Could somebody please help me out?
