I had originally said you could recoup some levels from fainted pokemon. If a level 10 fainted, you'd get 5. I then decided against this, but there had been some heavy discussion about it, and it has confused some people.

I should probably confirm that I decided to not make any changes in the end. This statement should not be taken as evidence one way or another what Jeod does or does not have though.

Yeah, been mostly playing this, though tbh when I'm in GM mode I'm usually too hyped up to focus on actually playing a game, like some kind of ambient tension. The romhack is "on topic" enough to be immune though I suppose. My stellar playthrough of Football Manager has really taken a hit this past week though.

I take it you're playing again? I beat Whitney earlier today. Was quite a tough fight, though mostly due to Attract. I had to keep switching my pokemon in and out to reset that. Probably would have lost except I RNGed my way past 4 infatuation/paralyzed (double whammy!) in a row.

Part of the reason mine was underleveled is because I very much did not want to miss that thundershock. It's level 13, but I thought it was 11. Still, it meant I kept it out of the spotlight for the entirety of sprout tower.

Jolteon. The thing was I didn't level it up before Falkner, thinking my other two could just handle him. After the first defeat I made sure it got to level 13 for thunder shock, and also evolved my starter into Crocanaw, and that did the trick.

I was originally going to be away for hammer today, which is just one schedule reason I was against shortening this day, but I'm here now. Hammer is tomorrow, and now that everyone is being so lively, it seems ruude to interrupt the "discussion".
