After people level up a few times that chance likely becomes higher. We don't want to put all our eggs in one basket then that basket turns out to be the sith, or else we're screwed.

This actually just made me remember something though. I don't want to go into too much detail right now, but my own bonus would suggest there are third parties/npcs/"grey" factions.... maybe...

Only the champion gets immunity I think? We can vote someone sith over and over again I believe. If not, the game is kind of borked if we actually do find a sith.

Is that an admission you're going to the dark side? This is a pretty astute observation. Granted, once we get rolling people *might* settle down (not sure on the betting odds of it), but the votes are a good way we get information and shouldn't be run ramshod over.

Yeah, and this is a Verti game. Anything is possible in a Verti game. I imagine the top tier powers are probably truly OP.

The problem is, after that performance, everyone suspects me of being a scum-sided player now. It's thwarted my last few scum runs because so much heat has been on me from D1. I welcome the chance to be a town player and prove I'm just as useful as town, and/or show people I'm unbiased.

I'll counter with the fact that it's been said the game is entirely in the hands of the player actions. People BECOMING the Sith would fit that very well. You also place undue weight on this theory I'm talking about. It's not even 50/50. It's 5% at the most. I just like to have all ideas on the table.

Yes, it says that. But that could mean the slider moves. That could mean eventually you become a sith if you do it too much. It could mean other things as well. It most certainly doesn't give exact points value. Therefore it's a bit open ended.

But what exactly does that mean "mean" is open for debate. Don't get me wrong, I'm agreeing it's ill advised, but there's room for interpretation.

I think his point is it doesn't specifically mention corruption. That said, there might be hidden mechanics, and I'd be highly surprised if there wasn't at least *some* consequence for learning dark side powers.

I'll vouch for him. That's just how he is. Most of my disagreements with him often come over technicalities and the like, such as my disagreement here, where he called these things proven and evidence when they're really just theory and guesswork. It's been years and I've not gotten him any closer to being any less stubborn

We've had arguments about things for how long now? Several years? I've gotten pretty good at translating what you say into what you actually mean by now.
