Compliments and Complaints... Request Help!

Hi everyone!

The other day something reminded of Renegade, a game I hadn't played in years, so I dug out my old discs and reinstalled it.
After much effing around to get it working again, something else reminded me of APB which I hadn't played in just as long. (I'm pretty sure Tanya had dual pistols last time I played it? And there was a city map where we had partial bases and tank battled through tall buildings on streets.)
I'm so pumped at what you have accomplished with this game! Even the co-op by myself is enjoyable as the AI is pretty well done. I like how they don't follow predictable paths.
RA2 is one of my all time favourite games too so I am thrilled to see you are working on AR as well, as the last I played APB, AR was just an idea.
Thank you to everybody from devs to testers for what you have created! APB is stunning and reminds me of Broforce: "Old style" but can run with the big boys in this day and age.

Now, trust me when I say I tried looking for answers to my questions/complaints but I'm either blind or we have an example for my first complaint...
- The forum does not feel very organized or user friendly. Is there a guide to units for the mods? Is there a Renegade forum I am completely missing? I couldn't figure out where to change my in game name at first and tried searching, has nobody ever asked that or is the search a little too specific? I know you are all volunteers doing this as a labour of love, but one day some forum re-kajiggering would be awesome.
- On a Renegade map played, I had rainbow colors on a lot of rocks and some buildings. How does one fix these textures?
- Is there scheduled nights to try and meet up for a fuller server? I'll do what I can to spread the word about these games and the launcher, but planned nights would be awesome for existing players to fill the servers up.
- I know you may not want to touch this one because of the multiplayer aspect, but I can't get either version of my Renegade trainers to work in single player. I've set the compatibility to XP SP3 and run as admin, but no beuno. I like god mode and infinite ammo to mess around in SP.
- My edits to my Renegade multiplayer practice (time limit off, higher starting credits) do not work. The file saves but nothing changes in game. Advice?
- Both Renegade and APB have little moments of lag where I have a "mini freeze" for a split second. Is there a way to make this go away?

Indeed we are, and some "re-kijiggering" is already in the works, I just have not finished it. Some input from a fresh set of eyes might actually be useful, because the help info that I've been working on might overlook something that I have assumed is obvious or well-known due to my own familiarity. DM me on this, and I will make sure that your points of confusion are covered somewhere in the new help guides when I finish them.

There are events from time to time, and we usually announce them via our Discord as well as social media.

As for your issues with the games, lets get some information... Refer to the posting guide here at the top of this subforum. Do you have any video or screenshots of the rainbow rocks or mini freezes? You mention some details about the issues you are experiencing, but what about your hardware? The description gives me a little bit to go on, but I don't want to assume too much before knowing some hardware and software information about your system, as well as the composition of your Renegade install. From where did you acquire Renegade? Is it updated with the TT patch? What modifications have you done to the game yourself?

Let us know what we are working with, and we will go from there. And again, welcome!

It isn't so much a "help info" thing as it is navigating the forum to find/try to find information.

I'm still in learning mode, but I think I grasp that others are using your launcher to run their own servers. The server I had the map issue on does not appear to be ran by you directly. I'll grab a screen next time I play the map.
The "mini freezes" are like lag. Or are lag and that is just how the game handles it. My single player does it too. It is like the whole game freezes for split second, when it is over I don't see any objects "warped" or moved like you normally do with lag.
I used my original discs to install, applied the TT patch, no mods other than dragging and dropping the trainers not working and trying to edit the multiplayer practice file.
