how do I move the camera away while in transport?

In a multiplayer game, getting into a transport, my camera is too close to it. It's very uncomfortable for me to shoot, I can't lean out and shoot at a protective building.

You can press the F key to cycle camera views.

Hello, the F button only works for the infantryman, but not for equipment. I need to be able to do the same as in this screenshot

The newer W3D games feature alternate cameras for vehicles, but Renegade unfortunately does not.
