  1. Actually, when you put it that way, that does make it seem a lot more useful.
  2. Oh I had an opinion. I was just more shocked about Cat 5's lack of usual deliberation.
  3. Pies need to be sweet, not salty And I always post a lot
  4. Well I guess I just assumed you were referring to my comment about you being suspicious for 'fishing' on Shade, and the conversation I was referring to you had with Shade happened BEFORE Sunflower said she roleblocked Retal. She said that early on on page 13 IIRC (I just checked but I forgot if it's page 13 already), whereas you were going on with Shade before that.
  5. But at that point in time we didn't know Retal had been role blocked though, I think?
  6. Given that you can use actions and items at the same time, it becomes a little less useful, though.
  7. Here is my general reads list, seeing as the argument going on seems to have died out, arranged in order of most townie to most HOSTILE (seeing as there's a chance of third party). Killing_You - He gets very town for the time being. I won't explain why fully at this time, but I have some reasons. There's a chance I'm wrong, but *for the moment* I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Nodlied - I have a null read on him. He's not done much, other than claim virus infect him. Even if that's true (and to be fair I have no reason to doubt him) it doesn't clear of him OTHER hostile action. Sunflower - Tied with Nodlied. Again a null read. Roleblocked Retal and it has been confirmed. That in and of itself is not towny, but it's about all we have to go on. If last game is any judge, she'll get more talky as the game goes on, but I'd like her to talk more as is. Irish - Another null read, and hard to place. He might actually be above Nodlied. He's being bold with his roleclaim indeed, and if he's telling the truth that's pretty towny... but he could still have an angle we don't know about. Cat 5 - I'm actually kind of suspicious of him, for fishing for Shade's defense early on. This would be something someone who wants to make night kills or third party virus infect would do, but at the same time, this might just be the continuing undercurrent of exasperation with Shade. Shade - I'm actually going to say I don't quite know where to put Shade on this list. This is the lowest he could possibly be, but he could be up above Nodlied. He was also roleblocked last night, but the way he's handled the situation and his behavior seems more town than Retal, if only for the fact that if he was scum he'd be making a right mess. Doesn't rule out third party, of course, but if we include Shade on possible third party list it's getting pretty crowded. Like Irish, if he has an angle, I don't know about it. Retal - He was roleblocked and there was no night kill. He's been generally uncooperative. His flavor could also go here, but I don't put too much stock in that. Bad guy-ish flavor could be town still. However, mostly, I'm not satisfied with his answer to what his ability is, at all. ChopBam - Pies. Need I say more? ----- I guess, in summary, I'm suspicious of pretty much everyone to some degree or another, besides KY. In a CYOR with possible third party we do get kind of hostile-biased though. I'm guessing KY is probably a null read for most other people. I do reserve my right to change my opinion on KY, pending future action.
  8. Well, he was a Psyduck for the longest time...
  9. So you're saying you're ready to sign on to my pie paranoia for today's lynch eh?
  10. I mean, not to jump on Shade's crazy train, but Retal just saying that doesn't "prove" anything. And what's this about a lab?
  11. Well Retal hasn't confirmed or denied being roleblocked.
  12. Yeah. I mean, I see the implications, but Retal isn't even here to respond. You're usually a bit more choosy about when you vote, and it's pretty early in the day.
  13. Granted, this is just wild speculation and I have no evidence this is the case, but in the Mass Effect game I played there was a similar role, except at some point the person "marking" players could set them all off like bombs. Wait, wasn't that how your role was too?
  14. Though of those things, I guess pie is REALLY the only thing that screams third party to me. But you know me, always paranoid. I feel kind of left out of this whole kerfluffle too. It's a bold claim to say FOUR people visited you. What happened to me being the suspicious one drawing everyone N1, heh.
  15. Well, regardless of your wishy-washyness, a lot of this stuff at first glance sounds to me like third party stuff. Pies, possession, and viruses (prion diseases if we're going for the 3 Ps ), but if all of it is, we're a very third party heavy game so it's probably not the case. It's usually a bad idea to hunt third party first, too, but leads are better than none, and I'm always wary of cults after reading the visceroid game.
  16. Wait, so you're actively possessed right now, you just don't know what it does?
  17. So let me get this straight, the options are "it failed" or "it didn't happen". "It succeeded" is not an option, right?
  18. Yeah, but it seems like that's one you wouldn't. I mean, what good is possessing someone to do something if they know about it. I can see how it would make it harder to trace a nightkill, but then you could just trace the possession instead.
  19. That seems... pretty convoluted... and like, if that was the case, why would you know about all this?
  20. So you're saying someone tried to nightkill you and failed?
  21. You're going to leave us hanging like that?
  22. Well, I think we can safely guess who did the pie.... but how do you know about the others? Also I should add I'm really suspicious of the pies.
