I never thought he would be sneaky enough to pull a delayed kill, but looks like he did, otherwise I would resign. He passed it to Orange on purpose so that we can talk about the Notebook. Well actually, so that Orange can talk about the Notebook. Shade didn't even know he'll be revealed as one of the Notebook users.

If you lynch Orange, the Notebook goes back to me iirc. Which means no one can use it.

You can ask Orange for a test, he's the next to use the Death Note if he wants to lol.

So if you are telling the truth, it just means that players cannot guess your name or even if they have somehow revealed it would not work until they actually get shinigami eyes. There are some rules about guessing a name in the Notebook and the penalties for that. So that's most likely it.

In this game they just bypass the need to know the real character name.

That is still irrelevant to Shinigami eyes. With shinigami eyes all you have to do is write a player's name to the Notebook.

No one is nameless. If they gave you a designation in SCP you have a name.

Also notice how Sunflower died without anyone knowing her true identity.

We also had few incognito roles in Death Note Mafia but with Shinigami eyes it was still bypasable. There is a big price to pay for the Shinigami Eyes deal though. Hehehehe.

Just hints so she know who gave her the Notebook. She actually tried to play as anonymous in the Notebook at first because she didn't know I gave her the notebook, so perhaps she ignored those hints... We didn't talk about those hints in the Notebook because she figured out who she's talking to later. Heheheh.

Afaik the Death Note kill is unstoppable, unswapable, cannot be protected against and cannot be directed to anyone else. It's explicitly written in the rules.

Notice how she turned up to be a vampire instead of Alice? Why would she hide the flavor when everything was already revealed today? Or right, because there is another vampire in game

We don't have that rule, but it's a funny thought killing of a force ghost. I would actually like to test it, hence I told Orange that he should kill Chopbam with it :V

You can check the rules of the Death Note in my previous game. But for this game we simplified it to only 11 rules and Shinigami rules (+Shinigami eyes).

There's also this possibility. If the alignment changes also with people who use the notebook (I actually don't know about that, it's not in the rules), then you have to watch if Shade made a delayed kill for D6. But Orange already has a guilty read regardless.

It's a good thing then that you forgot how to remove the Death Note from the game. It's actually easy but I'm not going to tell you how. And you might not even have time to do it if scum kills you first. Heheheh. Btw can you guess the flavor of the death?
