Granted, the reason why I asked him if he was going to do anything about it, was I wanted to draw the vote sooner. If he was going to do the save, I wanted a chance for someone to see that and stop it.

Right, so here's what I think. If iLTS is scum, the other scum players have already voted NoLynch, or are Anon_Kat or TheIrishman. Close votes on Day 1 usually have a scum member among the options. Since one of the options is NoLynch... The only thing giving me serious pause is that we will likely have to nolynch during one of these days, otherwise it's mylo on Day 3.

His chance of being a Spy at this point is 22%. Higher than everything else, and much higher than any other player, but just 22%. It is a valid point to keep in mind, though, that certainly could be something he is trying to do.

For example, Retaliations stuck result doesn't say a whole lot. Two roles were eliminated as possibilities, but his chance of being scum only increased from 25% to 33%. Tells us next to nothing, though the individual chances of Retal being a town power role might be of interest to them.

Town power roles might want to hide as a conscript as well.

Sure, but again it's barely better than a coinflip to get a miss result. Conscripts can get any result, so even if a result appears that isn't a miss, you can't be sure why. Scum could use this to get free shots.

This is why on an individual level, I don't think Shade firing was so bad for us. But if we start mass shooting, I'm sure more than Conscripts will fire, and then everything will be muddled.

All these types of ideas will sound better in a vacuum, but they sort of fall apart when you consider that anyone can pretend to be a Conscript.

Having all the Conscripts known for certain by the Mafia but not by Town probably wouldn't work in our favor.

If Shade actually did get the stuck result that was originally attributed to him, his statistical chance of being a Conscript would be 30% instead of 75%. Big swing.

It's like I said before, while the statistics are stronger in this game because of how the roles are set up, an "unexpected" result will tilt things further off course.

I think that is true during majority-hammer games, but really only the last vote a player makes during the day matters. Can't really do strong analysis during the day because any current votes are meaningless.
