Normally I'd argue we don't know what night actions can do, and I assume that's the stance of some others, but on the other hand, *Shade* said that, so fair point...
I'll assume you're town so I'd rather you not get caught out on something tomorrow.

I'm pretty sure nothing bad is going to happen tonight, and since apparently night actions do exist, if it does, it'll be due to a scum night action, so even if sabotage does happen I'm not sure if I'm gonna think Cat 5 is a baddie.

As it stands, we're sidelining you anyway without you being fingered for a sabotage.
I'll choose to be sidelined today rather than tomorrow.

I'm just not sure if we change our nomination or we just vote on someone elses?

And I still think that reasoning is a scum reasoning. There is no reason for a town player to want to avoid being sent. There is no risk to looking suspicious as you have no risk of being removed. The risk for town is sending a scum player to the away team. Now, a scum player may consider being sent a risk as once they sabotage a mission the target will be on their backs for the rest of the game.
And the logic for scum not wanting to be sent doesn't really work, since that's their win condition. It's better for them to be on the away team and create discord, rather than trying to go together. So actually, I'd like to change my nomination to the same as the Cat_5's, since there's no possible way it would be good for a scum team to both NOT be on the away team.

There's literally no risk in sending a scum player. We send one now, they sabotage, it's a 50/50. I just don't want to be the one defending myself tomorrow. The risk is me getting sidelined and scum pouncing on it.

If I get put on a team at all, it's going to end up being with a scum. They're going to sabotage it, I'm bad at defending myself, and then I'm going to get benched the rest of the game and scum will be sent on the away teams while I impotently protest.

I just don't want to be on the away team at all, regardless of who, and I've made my point as to why.

Or should I say, least scummy play.

Don't you find being selfish a little... anti town?
In this case, no. If I'm scum I'd want to be on the away team, either to get a point for scum, or lay low and then use it as townie cred. Not going on the away team is the best town play.

I know I'm town, so there's no point in me going, this way if there's any sabotage it's a 50/50 and I don't have to go through the effort of defending myself.

##Nominate Townbot, Louis, Orange
I'll take your suggestion, but with a small modification.0 -
So is this something that happens every time or did Jeod just get unlucky?

That is most illogical.
Townbot should obviously take priority listing due to its trustworthiness.

I disagree with Jeods vote though.
I think we should

Well the bot seems incapable of doing it, but if we sent two humans one of them could and then we'd have to argue.
The play here is, if we send Jeod and the bot, we send Jeod and the bot *ad infinitum* until we either win or something bad happens, at which point we know something's wrong. If the away team never expands to 3, we know that bad thing is Jeod. If the away team does expand, then that's where we argue and basically have to play mastermind (the code breaking game).
I'd assume it would increase though. Otherwise town could just so that 3 days in a row and win without any chance for scum.

Ironically, it's not that bad of an idea. Jeod may or may not be scum, but if he's scum, he'd have to be the dumbest boy alive to actually sabotage D1. We can let him do it, just keep in mind that it doesn't actually clear him.
Fair shake. I guess with only 2 team members regardless there'd be no sabotage.

Or not.

You joke, but if we nominate scum D1 I suspect the play would be for them to pretend to be a goodie.
Either way a point for town.
So we just don't send the bot unless we are in a losing position right? It gives us more suspects to focus on.

The ultimate scum play is to not sabatoge at all and just lose.
Town would never suspect.

The 11th works for me.

Ah sure, why not. Once we get all the players, can we have a 2 day period before game start? I don't check the forums every day and I don't want to be dead weight.

Ah well, I think a short, different game is a good palette cleanser.
