    I assume besides the two skills each character has, there's no secret traits they would have?

    It's risk/reward. Take a chance on grabbing someone who just tried to use a Tanya skill during the day time I'd also think having someone join TP if they're solo is better than nothing so early in the game.

    Just FYI, I wouldn't be able to ##REPAIR a Silo randomly. I need to know they're the Silo, and they need to be disabled. Can't use it to ping people
