  1. The last couple of games wrapped themselves up pretty quick IIRC.

  5. Ironically I'm probably in a better position to play/host a game now than when I started 40k mafia. So I'll eventually start playing again.

  8. FRAYDO usually pushed one damage through to cat5 the couple of times I played that out.
  9. As the N1 kill you were never given a chance to do something.
  10. The terminally active "good" players weren't the ones who did that though!
  11. A word of wisdom from playing 40k is that local metas can diverge dramatically from more global ones. I remember it being really common for scum to just play inactive and watch town tear itself apart here.
  12. I think the actual argument revolves around if you think pushing inactives is or isn't something town cat5 would do rather than stats.
  13. I think the problem with cat5 pushing coolrock was how he brought it up.
  14. I'd argue it's more important for a sniper to make sure they're killing who they need to kill
  15. I'm thinking more about the mechanics of the game itself. Cat5 did a good job to try and make the game winnable with an inactive partner I feel. He got a bit lucky with not dying to Orange/Mojo along the way however. He got very lucky when you managed to kill Jeod through toughness 4 and a 3+ save.

  17. It was absolutely the correct play because coolrock would have had a 90+% to kill a 1 wound player and just end the game.
  18. So uh, pretty short game. Maybe would have been better with a 10th player (who would have been town).

  20. Jeod makes 4 melee attacks against Shade 2 successes. Shade dies and the game is won for mafia.
