If you have a gun, then we have two options:
1) Shoot Nodlied, who is a suspected building. If he's a chronosphere we shit bricks.
2) Shoot Cat5, who is a War Factory (I suspect an Allied War Factory).
I'd prefer neither be done until we have a hardclaim from Nodlied.

And it's a contraction because you're a base defense that detects infantry units. What's the point if the mafia team is a building and a tank? Wouldn't you be a Tesla Coil then?

Moonsense, unless your role specifically states you cannot claim, then you can tell your role any time you want. Try to be strategic about it. The only thing you cannot do is quote your role description word for word as a method to prove alignment.

Well, this is what happens when a player goes inactive from the game start. We basically have to act as if he doesn't exist. And now that you have replaced him, it's like suddenly having a new player in the game because nobody knows anything about you and can't do anything to determine otherwise.

How is it a contradiction? Buildings can be shot to death. If you can produce gun-toting tanks, Soviet buildings are a breeze for you.
Moonsense, you should know your role. Verti should have sent you a PM about it.

I don't know what it does, but it is most likely a boost to our shooting capabilities, be it with increased accuracy or an additional shot.

Also, as far as ChopBam being a ChronoTank, ChronoTanks don't have guns. And I still don't believe it's possible for an unlynchable mafia role to exist.

Effing WHAT?! Wow this game has some curveballs thrown at us.
Unless Jeod is an unlynchable Chronosphere (which I doubt), Nodlied is still suspect alpha for me.

A chronosphere wouldn't be able to shoot a gun, I suspect. Nodlied's high up on my list as well, but I can't discount a Cat5/ChopBam scumteam either. In fact, Chaos is right, Nodlied did say he had to decline a gun boost by default, which Cat5 said happens when you're a building.
Also, I'm reading up on the chronotank (it's been a long, long time since I've played RA1), and get this: chronotanks need time to charge their chronoshift power.
I'm not 100% sold on Nodlied just yet. If ChopBam is a chronotank and warped himself out of play, there's a chance he could come back. It would be ideal for the scumteam to use the chaos to speedlynch someone. There are six players left among us without ChopBam, and if we have two Allies, and we lynch wrong, there will be 2/4 tomorrow. If scum have been hiding a nightkill ability, then it'll be 2/3.
We should slow down and consider all the possible avenues.
Mafia edit: 2/3 with an unlynchable Allied building.

Good thing I'm unlynchable. Anyway, here's what we know (for moonsense):
1) Chaos_Knight is cleared by Nodlied and Category5, who confirmed to receive accuracy boosts.
2) Killing_You is *probably* town
3) Category5 claims War Factory that can change a role into a heavy tank every other night phase.
4) ChopBam claims to have received a heavy tank (claims he was originally rifle soldier), used it to shoot Mojoman5) There is someone with a chrono power among us.

I'm starting a new job tomorrow and it's scheduled for weekdays 12:30-9:30 EST. I get two 15 minute breaks and an hour lunch break, none of which fall under hammer times for this game (lunch break actually ends at hammer time). I'll also be posting less starting tomorrow around noon EST.Mafia edit: to be fair, I did write four of those points down yesterday after hammer. With the new developments, Killing_You could be our chrono trooper. IIRC, only Killing_You and Nodlied are left for infantry roles, unless ChopBam is actually a chrono tank.

Oh man I just had a laugh at a thought accompanying this. If air units descend too quickly and slam into the ground they cause an explosion that blows the unit up. I'm just picturing demo-like explosions, and that's how the Demobow was born.

Um, dude. No nightkills two nights in a row. By Day 3, town is starting to get a feel for eachother and gains the ability to confirm at least one townie. From a spectator's point of view, I would bet town wins. Thus, there has to be a lie somewhere in the story.

Why should I be concerned about concealing anything with no nightkills? Having all of the information out in the open has been more beneficial to town. What do you think might have happened today had we not had our debates? I saw a teaser of what would have happened had I kept silent about Mojoman.

I already gave my reasons for coming out and hardclaiming. The previous allusions, such as my pondering if you were a Flame Tower day one, were an attempt to get you to come out and claim the role, since I know I can prove it.

Well, if your claim is true, you should have more than an idea.
A Flame Tower detects only allied infantry and you are told as such in your role PM (and also in the role list in the OP.) Your role would be useless if there was not an Allied team.
Thus. there is no way somebody with a Flame Tower role would ever believe that there is not an Allied team. This roleclaim you came up with in your sleep doesn't fly, and neither does your vote-for-myself bluff. It doesn't even fit your own theory because a scum team with me and ChopBam would consist of a building and a tank, again, making you useless.

Hammer this guy! The literal worst that could happen is that he's telling the truth, which would make no sense at all.
AJ's cornered theme is the worst of them all IMO. Pick a better option.
Anyway, I've been alluding to Flame Tower long before today. Better hit the books (posts, in this case).
