  1. If Isaac started as a visceroid and converted Mojo Night 1, I don't think there will be anymore. I paralyzed Mojo last night, and we got rid of him today, so that takes care of that.

At this point, I have no idea who to suspect as scum.

Doublepost: Damn it, that should've been "any more." What is wrong with me today.

If you blocked Mojo last night then why was there no night kill? Who did you block N1? I have a feeling you're lying.

  2.

If there is another visceroid, it's probably Killing_You or Nodlied. Killing_You because Mojoman tried to clear him in advance, (which never made sense as a town cop move, so it seems like a gambit to me), making him a pretty good target to pick up if we actually believed his claim, or Nodlied because the use of his action could just a ruse to make us think that Nodlied isn't teamed with Mojoman. It didn't really hurt Nodlied in any real way.

By the way, we can't forget that scum failed to kill again. I think we are looking at crazy land solutions to that problem. 1) Scum can't kill until or unless something happens (currently thinking it may be related to a town role action!), or 2) Wallywood is the only mafia player, or 3) There isn't a scum team.

Mafia edit: 2) Wallywood is the only mafia player [who can kill], or 3) There isn't a [mafia] team

Also, whatever happened to your gimmick? :v

Yea, with the self-replicating viceroid infestation we have, I am quite inclined to believe that allies either aren't there or can't act until something special happens.

Otherwise town would've been screwed from the get go, and we aren't playing Kamuixmod or ILTS mafia.

    Oh and don't forget that:

    Scum NK = -1 town

    Cult conversion = -1 town +1 cult

So cult would outnumber town nearly twice as fast.

Now let's add that every viceroid seems to be able to "bite" which blocks both voting and actions so they can literally not only get the majority faster, they can turn the close game into their own majority.

Urgh, hard to explain but I hope I made my point.

In such scenario adding also scum would really feel like an extra nail to town's coffin.

I understand your point, don't worry, it was clear enough. :v

Visceroids can apparently convert people really quickly. If we didn't catch Isaac on D1, we might have ended up with two conversions last night, which would have pretty much been GG. However, I have two theories that may work in favour of town.

    1. Visceroids are made up of mutated humans/dogs/flesh/whatever, so fluff wise, they wouldn't be able to convert buildings. This would slow the conversion process to a more balanced level.

    2. I received an invitation for Rifle Training on N1. I don't know what it does, but it is most likely a boost to our shooting capabilities, be it with increased accuracy or an additional shot.

Oops, posted too soon. Mafia edit:

    1) That reminds me, Cat5, you said that something would happen if you were lynched/killed. You effectively claimed third party. Time to fess up, for the good of us all.

    2) ChopBam, did you receive that shotgun as a second gun? i.e. Is your ##shoot command refilled?

    3) Interesting. A gunsmith. That would add balance to the game. Any idea who it was?

  3. Seems too unbalanced to have scum and cult in the game, I agree. Plus, with only Cat5, Chaos, ChopBam, myself, Nodlied, and Wallywood left after Killing_You (who I also agree on lynching due to Mojoman's investigation soft), I'm even further inclined to believe it. It's hard to scumread any of you after the game's events so far.

By the way, as shown by the random shotgun lying around, Visceroids can't shoot. I did at the start of the day, in case you're wondering if I got attacked last night.

Mafia Edit: Hard to scumread anyone except Wallywood, that is. He's my prime scumspect if there are scum since Vertigo has been trying to replace him "urgently".

  4. I imagine with three players it won't mean much, but on Zama, I singlehandedly took a Captain, went to the rear of the Soviet base, killed two Flame Towers, and planted a flare on the roof of the Power Plant with Tesla Coil's vision blocked. I wiped out all production buildings. Would it be beneficial to replace the Flame Tower near the Missile Silo with a second Coil to have vision and reach toward that hill? Or do you think that would make the Soviets too OP?

  5. Thanks, but I tried coming back to this two or three times over the past year. Just can't figure out the AI. I'm probably doing something wrong in CCWMap; I can make the teams, but I can't send them to attack. It's buggy, too--even in Time Warp sometimes the GDI vehicles will stop and do nothing in the middle of the map.

  6. A few years ago I played around with CCWMap and decided to make a short mini-campaign centered around Nod's use of a time machine after GDI's victory in the First Tiberium War. It involves some custom maps but also some modified versions of existing campaign maps. Has five Nod missions and five GDI missions...possibly expandable. I've only 'completed' one mission in this pack. I haven't figured out how AI works in C&C95, so I've run into difficulty completing the rest. If anyone's interested in something like this, I'd welcome to help!

    =====================
    ======TIME WARP======
    =====================

PROLOGUE MISSION: Time Warp (Nod) (Custom Map)

One of our scientists has made a breakthrough in Time Warp technology. We will use this technology to change the outcome of the First Tiberium War, provided GDI does not interfere. Make sure they don't. The lab is located at the base of the Kuray mountain range. Defend it until the time machine is finished. When it is, you will make history all over again.

Nod MISSION 1: Estonia Revisited (Reference GDI Mission 2)

We're sending you back to the beginning of the war. GDI is about to seize control of Estonia. Unfortunately, we could only provide you with a single MCV. Quietly build a new base on the opposite end of the shore, and wipe out those scoundrels.

Nod MISSION 2: Ukraine Onslaught (Custom Map)

Now that we've secured Western Europe, it's time to hit GDI where it hurts. They're preparing an invasion force from the west, in Ukraine. Luckily, we can kill two birds with one stone. Dr. Moebius happens to be researching a new Tiberium-based weapon for GDI's military. Destroy the research center but keep the good doctor alive. Remove GDI from the area.

Nod MISSION 3: Hungry for Vengeance (Reference GDI Mission 9)

GDI is attempting to wrestle control of Hungary from us. If you recall, commander, they overwhelmed us with ground troops after their sea assault failed. Be ready this time.

Nod MISSION 4: GDI Headquarters (Custom Map)

The Global Defense Initiative is coming to an end. GDI is making a last stand in _____. Take a moment to survey the situation, commander. We'll send you reinforcements shortly. Once you establish a foothold, crush them.

GDI MISSION 1: Trapped in History (Custom Map)

Kane will stop at nothing to make the world his own. Our apologies commander. Intelligence said nothing about a second base in Estonia, nor did they indicate that Nod knew about Ukraine. None of that matters now, though. We are thinned and weak, but not out of the game yet. Sneak into Russia via the Kara Sea and regain our footing. Destroy Nod, but do it discreetly.

GDI MISSION 2: Moscow Mania (Commando-Only, Custom Map)

We need to find out how Nod managed to learn of our operations. While we quietly rebuild our forces in northern Russia, infiltrate Nod's base at the Kremlin and look for any records or war tapes you can find. This operation needs to be kept quiet, so don't go rambo. Oh, and if you find Dr. Moebius, guide him to a safe location and we'll extract him.

GDI MISSION 3: Time Flies (Custom Map)

Thanks to your efforts, we've discovered Nod's secret weapon: a time machine. Dr. Moebius has been working on a method to scan for time displacement signatures. The last known displacement was around the Kuray mountain range. Investigate the area. You have been authorized to use the time machine if you find it.

GDI MISSION 4: Sarajevo Invasion (Modified GDI Mission 15, Increased Difficulty)

You've found a treasure trove of information, commander. All is not lost. We've traced Nod's time machine to Sarajevo, near Kane's Temple. Move in and seize it. We don't have much to work with, commander, but we're giving you everything we can. Good luck.

EPILOGUE MISSION: Time Warp (GDI) (Custom Map)

Those who don't know their history are destined to repeat it. We're back where it all began, commander. Nod's lab is at the base of the Kuray mountain range. We arrived too late last time to stop their little blast to the past, but this time we're prepared. Destroy Nod's research lab and end this war.

I attached a zip file to this post. Drop the .bin and .ini files in a C&C95 1.06c installation folder and check the New Missions tab--both are Nod. The first is Time Warp, the first mission in this little campaign. The second is a beta version of Nod Mission 4. I wanted to make use of some neat ideas that make the maps stand out, and the small invasion at the start of Mission 4 is an example of the aim.

  7. So you bussed Mojo, who was already a scum suspect, and scum decided to ignore the heavyweights and go after Mojo, and you protected him. That doesn't seem likely.

However, if my suspicion of you and Mojo being a scum team is true, we're getting closer to something more plausible. You bussed him and he stole my ID. That's probably why nobody had anything of substance to report and why nobody died.

And then you unvote knowing that makes you just that much more likely to be lynched. Strange. I don't like it, but it seems we're almost done here.

Elaborate on the stolen ID thing. Did you receive a message stating something other than that you were simply visited?

  8. Cat5 has officially lost it. Dude, people were voting Mojoman, ignoring Isaac even though people have said they agree with my reasoning on him, and more people who haven't even voted think Mojoman is scummy. And you yourself said there are roles not on the role sheet. Are you upset that I'm playing well?

    No hammer for Chaos.

Em, I don't think hammer triggers by just everyone casting their vote, esp. with forced voting in place. And Wally is still "technically" playing.
Not that I would risk it anyway. Early day ends are no good for town. Just as tie RNG lynches btw >_>

Well I gotta put down the roleplay mantle for a minute here because I'm going to be indisposed for 12+ hours tomorrow and have to get to bed shortly.

I can't in good conscious vote for Jeod. He has been weighing options and defending who needs defending. If he was scum I don't believe he would be giving this balanced of an approach to everyone.

I just honestly want to know what Cat_5 is, there's a fair chance I might get night killed and I just have to see what happens before that. I'm certain nothing bad will happen with a lynch attempt.

Now, Mojoman hasn't confirmed or denied anything. Which is strange. Even stranger, he went on how Jeod is a nice person and everything even though he wasn't exactly in the crosshairs to say. Then he tossed another jab at Cat5 and left without saying much else.
This just doesn't glue together well.

Isaac is pretty defensive, understandably so considering him behind one of the top lynch targets. But how come he has no suspicion about anyone but Jeod? Unless he's afraid of confrontations and thus active discussions.

If Mojoman is trying to soft that I'm correct in my suspicion, then he's awful at it. Regarding the hammer, with no nightkill and Wallywood gone, it's not worth the risk. Day 2 is when forced voting starts, right?

Last point to Cat5: If I were scum and spotted that soft before any of you, why would I openly draw attention to it with Mojoman being suspicious? Your argument is flimsy at best.

  9. Well I gotta put down the roleplay mantle for a minute here because I'm going to be indisposed for 12+ hours tomorrow and have to get to bed shortly.

I'm 90% positive he's a Fool or something bad for town.
