Yeah, as broken as gen 1 bind and such moves are, gen 1 frozen is broken too.

Gen 2 has Heracross, bug/fighting, that's pretty decent, and would be way better than Pinsir. Finally with the clutch freeze. Ice beam Pinsir again.

My attacks are special and growl reduces normal attack, but growling Charmander is still cute.

Just use Ice Beam on Pinsir whenever I'm free. Bind has a 75% accuracy he can't possibly make it all the time.

Though Sunflower, if you want me to switch to water gun on charmander, I can do that too, though it's not as strong a move as ICE BEAM.

I've been playing too much showdown battle... I put my cursor over their icons expecting stats to pop up... Anywho, I'll take Pinsir, Sunflower can take Charmander. Nice to see a starter show up (not counting pikachu). ICE BEAM PINSIR

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised now if scum have powers, but there's nothing we can do about that, so why worry about it. We just have to play the game and advance, and we've advanced quite far now.

I'm not saying Shade's not acting scummy right now, just that this particular point is incidental to the whole affair.

Well, like I said, he's not my rival. I guess maybe I could be KY's rival though.

Rivalries would be conducted much more efficiently in secret, in my opinion. I'll admit, this current situation would indeed be great for me throwing KY under the bus with rivalry, but that's not what's happening, so I can see why Shade would think that.

I will say unequivocally, I do not have a rival status with KY. That doesn't preclude KY from having rival status with me (apparently), but I don't think he did much manipulation either this time or last time to arrange the matchups.
