    I mean, conversely, Austria-Hungary can gain control of Poland instead of Poland gaining control of Gallicia. That might actually be what Jeod's thing refers to, but since he doesn't know lore, he doesn't know it.

    It's probably just an offhand comment. The way things are worded with me I'd probably prefer a republic, Danubian Federation, but all mention of the monarchy is conspicuously absent, so it's not technically a condition for me to want the monarchy gone

    Austria-Hungary. Poland does have a few chances to yoink them though. I can't recall all the possibilities, but in my recent game they united as democracies.

    I can't really think of a connection. There are those that would want to off the Polish Monarchy, but I'd put more money on them being syndie not nat pop, or Ukrainians.

    Though that said, it does always annoy me to no end when Poland yoinks Galicia.

    I still think investigating Cat 5 will provide the most information. It's not that I agree with Jeod on everything though. Still not sure who I want to have the gun, but if we're not investigating Irish, and Jeod doesn't steal it, Irish keeps it unless he passes it.

    I don't have any indication of being visited that night, but that said, I don't think questioning Jeod again right now is particularly productive. If he tries anything funny (barring being able to kill someone) we'll have *ample* notice and be able to stop him.

    I kinda want to hear what Cat 5 has to say about how the day has progressed so far before deciding on too much right now.

    It would be very hard to mess with me directly, as the thing I used wasn't an ability or even an item of mine, it was from the evidence base, so I'd assume the evidence base itself would have to be targetted. Maybe we're dealing with something like Northwoods in my game.

    Shade, as much as I hate to say it, is probably more impartial on the whole taking sides thing.

    That's a very good question. It could imply two things. 1) The evidence base is indeed important for labeling someone as hostile 2) There's another killer.
