Which is why I'm not really pushing for this option. If anything, I'd vote you champion because having so many powers should be an advantage, at least against other non-combat builds, rather than for the other reasons, but I don't see a need to do that either.

I'm not sure I buy your reason for not learning two powers as not being interested in one of them.

Well I summarized Nodlied already, and I do vaguely remember now Voe saying something about intelligence, but do we really think Voe has the gumption to go along with this plan and not do something else

Shade is not a good actor. More meta, I suppose, but in this singular case, I just don't see it.

First someone's got to get injured though Irish: We'd have to find someone with a similar build to you, though, which at this point is basically Nodlied, and he's of dubious trustworthyness as well. I'm not saying we need to throw you to the wolves, but it IS an easier way to prove things than by power matching, to play devil's advocate.

That's just how he is, though. I mean, I say this knowing him well, but you all saw how he acted in CMCM, where he was right, but for the wrong reason, and clung to that wrong reason rather tightly.

He has the most force powers, though. That would be a pretty big boon in combat, probably, especially if the other nominated is not a combat build as well. Though TBH, I'm not sure I'm ready to offer up Irish as the Champion. That said, I'm still very convinced Shade is town, and don't think we should off him right now.

I'd like to hear more from ChopBam. I'd normally say I'd like to hear more from FRAYDO, and actually I still would, but his charismatic envoy to me has been most productive. Oh, and I'd like to hear Cat 5's theories, if he's ready. (And even if he's not ready, tbf )

I think there's a bigger emphasis on the "unknown" side of things. For all we know, a side effect of using a dark side power is the balance goes in that direction. Meaning the balance goes up as long as sith do sith-y things. Player count probably affects it, but we'll see more of that once duels start to have an effect. I don't think we're facing a cultist type setup.

The thing is, we're like master and apprentice, but not in this game, so to speak I feel the need to do defend him because I've tried to teach him everything I know about arguing, though if that's a success or failure is up to interpretation. For what it's worth, I'm leaning towards a third theory of force balance, but I don't have enough to make it a coherently formed thought yet.

Eh, his "theory" as to how the meter works doesn't seem very plausible though, so I don't think he's hiding any info. In fact, the reason he's so town for me is because in addition to FRAYDO contacting me, I contacted Shade. The way he's responded in our holo chat is too fast for someone who has anything to hide. He's been too forthcoming too quickly to be able to fake it, IMO.

The biggest thing we have from D0 is when we all got mad at Irish for claiming to be Jedi too hard, and I think that set off a lot of our alarm bells, though I've currently reverted to a more neutral stance on him.

Could it be something like Death Note where Sith don't know who their partner(s) are? I find that kind of unlikely for this game.
