  1. Well, there's the option for anyone to learn dark side abilities. There's got to be some risk vs reward balance to it. It's a guess, but one I'd put my bet on, that learning said powers hasten the rise of the dark side force balance. Again, we don't know this for sure, but it just makes sense. It'll certainly be a part of my working body of theory.
  2. What about the Rule of Two? He thinks the sith bar is 1/12 filled, and thinks that means there's at least one sith (or someone with dark side abilities). It's guesswork. Guesswork that makes reasonable sense, but it's not like he has secret info I'm pretty sure.
  3. What I take issue with is Shade's use of the word "proof". I'm inclined to agree that the sith bar is filled a little bit, but we don't actually know that, or what it means, or if that could still be 0. There are still conclusions being jumped to. That said, my point was simply that no sith can't be ruled out at this point, not that it was likely or anything.
  4. That could just be cosmetic. The value isn't actually labeled.
  5. Can you prove right now there's a sith in the game 100%?
  6. I consider all possibilities. It's kind of my thing.
  7. No, this is just my natural need to point out all the possible alternatives to Shade's theory. You'll know something's up if I'm ever in complete agreement with him
  8. While strange, yes, there's precedent. The Stein;s Gate Quantum Mafia, in theory.
  9. By reverse psychology? It certainly is in their nature. While I'd recommend against the dark side, for obvious reasons, I fully suspect some people won't be able to contain themselves.
  10. The section on training powers might be of interest, as well.
  11. What if there are no sith and we just have to find the people who couldn't resist tampering with the dark side?
  12. Mafia edit: Actually even number of players. I forgot to count Voe. And yes, it was Voe specifically I forgot to count.
  13. Don't we have an odd number of players, though?
  14. Have you seen who we associate with around here?
  15. I suppose so, on a technicality of it. This has the potential to get out of hand, fast. I trust that everyone, once the actual days start, will exercise more restraint, lest ye be labeled as a sith.
  16. Cat 5 still has a chance to accept or turn down Jeod.
  17. You can't do that until the previous challenge has been accepted or declined.
  18. Perhaps the reason I'm opposed to these random challenges is I still want to see Nodlied vs Voe deathmatch
  19. There's the added concern of we want a Champion who can fight well, as well. It seems only one challenge can be active at a time, but there is no penalty for declining.
  20. If I wasn't so lazy I'd post that meme about the steps of enlightenment, but unironically.
  21. From the instant the game starts, even before really, we're all judging each other, is what I'm saying. Even by the quality of our memes and whatnot. I'd actually say D0 has been mildly productive so far in getting a feel for how everyone's going to handle this game. The rules may be slightly different, but the reactions and interactions are genuine enough (or deliberately faked, etc etc). You never know what might slip out during the joke phase. From another perspective, it's also kind of bad form to skip right to the next phase before some people have even had a chance to check in that the game's started.
  22. I'm not sure which side of the issue you're coming down on here. That could be taken as support of either. I believe Verti did say a challenge shortens the day, but not by more than 24 hours. Also, there's the issue of whether or not Verti is READY for the duel to take place as well.
  23. If we skip to the duel we're forfeit what info we can gain D0, which while it may be a joke phase, some of us do use it to establish our baseline impressions
  24. Being a tutorial and all, I assume Verti is going to share all the info with the class when the time comes, and it will come eventually even without us speeding it up Granted, there's something to be said for hands on experience, but given only two of us get to go to the duel it's still a "me first!" issue, heh.
