  1. But Mojo isn't here right now due to work so I'm sure if I'm comfortable voting for him :\ I feel like he's been fairly active but hasn't offered much and most of his posts have been jokes. Reminder to everyone, if there are 3 scum members and we mislynch today, we lose. (although isn't there usually a warning of some kind if that's the case?) And if there are 2 members and we mislynch today, we could lose D4 if we mislynch again, provided they or we don't accidentally kill the last silo :\

It will be exceedingly hard to build a case on Chaos because he doesn't have much going on. Either because of timezones or because he's been trying to stay quiet, all he's really done are question me on my engineer read and be the first vote on jeod.

I'm a bit biased toward my Irish case though. I see Killing You's death and think his Vote on Irish was a contributing factor in choosing him over the other silo.

With what you're saying, it implies that scum could've chosen the other silo, which means they would know who the other silo is and how would you know that scum knows who the other silo is?

And didn't 3 people vote me? Too lazy to check.

TheIrishman, what's your take on OrangeP47?

I'd rather not think that Orange is scum, simply because he's been drugged up and I don't think he'd be scummy enough as a person to use that as an excuse for inactivity if he we actually scum.

While we're here, what do you think of CK's post?

I'm more suspicious of him at the moment.

Here's my list in order of suspicion as of right now

    1. Mojoman

    2. Chopbam

    3. Retaliation

    4. Chaos_Knight

    5. Alstar

    6. OrangeP47

    7. Jeod

Obviously no need to rate myself since it'd be biased anyway.

I feel like Chop has done a pretty good job at town, which is why I'm all the more suspicious. He's usually pretty good at blending in. Just going with meta here. I don't think Alstar is scum, simply because it'd make him too overpowered.

  3. We're currently at 7 (8) players.

    D3 7

    N3 7 → 6

    D4 6

    N4 6 → 5

    D5 5

    N5 5 → 4

    D6 4

    N6 4 → 3

    D7 3

If we tried a no lynch tactic, it wouldn't enable us to win either. If there are 3 scum, we still lose D4, if there are 2, we lose D6. We might've won if we tried a no lynch tactic from the start AND didn't shoot any guns, but we'd have to somehow guarantee that scum couldn't shoot their either. Either way, relying on our silos to win it for us is hopeless.

It was more possible when you had your Heavy Tank, Engineer, and Starshina.

No, Heavy Tank dies dies on block, apparently. I already pretended the Engineer worked in the example, and Starshina wouldn't have helped much in keeping us alive for 7 days. Maybe if we have a roleblocker, like an Officer. Actually I didn't think about that before, maybe there is still a SK, but someone locked him up? Anyway, the point is, by the time we reached D7, scum would've already killed us or our silos, if not that, then maybe we killed before. But the point is that D7 is basically impossible to reach. Which seems odd when the scum's special objective makes it easier for them to win, while ours is just there to give us false hope.

  5. Anybody ever noticed how this game is a bit skewed in scum's favor? By that I mean that Town's special victory condition is impossible to complete, unless we repeatedly lynch buildings.

    D1 12 → 11

    N1 11 → 10

    D2 10 → 9

    N2 9 → 8

    D3 8 → 7

    N3 7 → 6

    D4 6 → 5

    N4 5  → 4

    D5 4  → 3 + 1 (Engineer revives building if he didn't already die)

    N5 4 → 3

    D6 3  → 2

    N6 2  → 1

D7 Nuke goes off, we win. Just kidding because scum won either D3 if they had 3 allies and we didn't kill any, D4 if they have 2, D5/D6 if they had just 1 left. This is all assuming we didn't use any guns to kill each other (like we would be expected to) or that they weren't able to get a double night kill, like they already have.

Right now we're sitting at D3 with 8 players, and we'll more than likely get down to 7 or lower if more shots are fired, and probably follow the above example, except without the engineer reviving, so we're guaranteed to be unable to get our special win condition. The game itself is fun but D7 is too much of a stretch for the secondary win condition with only 12 players.

What's changed: Previously I thought we had 9 town members, and 3 hostiles, 2 as scum and 1 as third party. Now it appears that we only have 8 members and 4 hostiles, 2 as scum, 1 third party, and 1 neutral. The 33% anti-town is unexpected and looks like it may lead to our demise, especially with the neutral evil that is Jeod.

I don't know if we can rule out voe for scum. Definitely not third party, but maybe scum.

I think chaos knight has been kind of hosed by time zones. He's tried to contribute novel ideas when he has posted (at my expense).

I feel Orange has played very follow the leader this game. I haven't really been paying much attention to him since the first day though.

Irish has been very worried about how we read his posts. Self consciousness is mildly scummy.

He also was fishing for notification of investigations from targets. I don't feel town really needs or wants to know about what their power roles were up to.

    I think there's something there

    ##vote TheIrishman

I wasn't really worried about how people read my posts before, just defending myself from Chop like usual. The only thing that got me real worried was reading pages 13 to 18. It started with me thinking Jeod would get killed or lynched, then all of a sudden things were turned against me and I thought I might've got lynched before I could even say anything, and then Jeod was revealed to be some sort of ridiculously OP hostile yet still neutral role. Things got pretty hectic while I was working. And I wasn't fishing for notifications, just stating a fact. And if it were revealed after, I didn't think it'd really hurt town. Yet now that I've thought it over, I can see why it wouldn't be good for town since it would've probably reduced the odds of who the cop could be from 1/9 to 1/8.

I can change my goal at will. You see, if my sense of satisfaction from this game is higher because you are dead, I'll be none the wiser if Verti says I lose, and I'll still be happy because justice. The only thing holding me back is that right now I'm feelin' like a teamplayer, and I want my team's input.

Yeah, I wish I could kill Jeod right now just for the personal satisfaction after he kinda helped screw us over.

I'm going to post a new table in a bit.

Interesting. We've got some fencesitting from you, as you yourself have said. But you are also managing to defend Retaliation without getting too close to him. This quote is exactly how I'd defend an Allied teammate. Plant doubt in the grilling. Say there are some wild accusations on your brother without going too hard. Claim you're leaning one way and say it's because you were once in his shoes. But don't push too hard on it just in case you two become linked in public discourse, and you have an easy out.

Garnering sympathy from "fellow Soviets," who are also just trying to discern the truth from the lies.

Putting Alstar under the spotlight again.

A half-hearted analysis on CK for content.

Really none of these things by themselves would be too suspicious, but it's the post as a whole that is coming across as very suspicious to me.

Well my first paragraph was mostly in response to this ↓

    3 hours ago, Jeod said:

Whoa whoa Irish, you can't just pop in out of nowhere and only respond to the latest idea! You've got a whole 12 hours to catch up on!

And then the next was in response to the night phase, then an analysis on players, and lastly an additional thought because I didn't really have anything to say about KY and I didn't want us to automatically assume Alstar had to be town. In mafia it seems like a healthy case of doubt is always necessary.

    3 hours ago, Jeod said:

So no comment on the outcome of the past night phase or the analysis posts on players and Killing You specifically?

And my lament at the end was just me lamenting >.> I don't try to think about how people will react to my words before I say them.
