Games [Game Over: Town Victory] Star Trek: Away Team
Shade939 replied to Shade939's topic in Forum Games
Night Two After reviewing the mission parameters and the eligible candidates, you have decided that the ever loyal Townbot alongside officers OrangeP47 and Category 5 will be placed on the away team. Whether you believe that they're most suitable members for the mission, or simply the most trustworthy, or perhaps for some other nefarious purpose, these three members now hold the full fate of the mission upon their shoulders. With little more to do, the rest of you return to your duties upon the ship as the away team makes there way to Valden II to compete their current mission. As for Jeod, after undergoing another thorough medical examination, it was determined that the senors themselves had been tampered with, and the initial results had been nothing more than a false positive. He has been released from Medbay and is now cleared to leave the ship on Away missions. Players Day Two - 3 Away Team Members Required Jeod Townbot OrangeP47 Category 5 Mojoman Townbot Louis OrangeP47 OrangeP47 Townbot OrangeP47 Category 5 Louis Townbot Mojoman OrangeP47 Category 5 Hurricane Townbot OrangeP47 Category 5 Victory Condition Loyalist: One of Three points Separatist: Zero of Three points -

You can change who you're nominating/voting for as many times as you want to as long as it's before hammer. -

You want me to hide the rules about if I'm allowing players to use night actions if they're on the away team or not? -

Not for this game at least. I might consider adding that in as a restriction in a future game, but it also works better with a higher player count, and makes voting more complicated. -

Also, this is a split vote that I RNG for deciding which nomination wins. -

Pretty much, although Separatist don't have to Sabotage a mission, as long as they can still Sabotage three other Away Missions. As long as they gain three points at the end, they can be on every mission and only bother to Sabotage the last three of them. -

I will at least clarify that this is a result of player night actions. There are no GM events that'll effect game play. Unless you mean the Mission Requirements, which will change every day. -

Day Two Jeod and Townbot return to the ship after successfully completing the mission assigned to them. Unfortunately though, upon returning to the ship Jeod triggered the ships medical alarms, prompting him to be relocated directly to quarantine in Medbay. Following standard Star Fleet regulations, Jeod has been prohibited from leaving the ship until he undergoes a full day under medical obeservation without showing any symptoms, in order to protect the rest of the crew from whatever unknown contaminate he was exposed to. Still though, at least Townbot was unaffected, and you were able to complete your mission without serious incident, and it's not like Jeod can't provide his input on today's mission from Medbay. Gameplay Jeod cannot be nominated for the Away Team today. Away Team requirements for today's mission have been increased to Three Away Team Members. -

Yeah, it's a different game style from the usual mafia games, but still isn't complicated, and shares many similarities with mafia so you can largely play them while using the same tactics. -

Night One After a day spent debating the merits of the various surviving officers and their loyalty, you have decided to dispatch a small continent of officers consisting solely of Jeod who will be accompanied by the ever loyal Townbot. It should be a simple task for Jeod to accomplish the mission with Townbot to assist him, and you can only assume that Jeod would have been secretly working with the Separatist if the mission failed. But for now, you can only wait upon the USS Explorer and hope that your decision to send Jeod and Townbot to deal with the current mission objective will not jeopardize the future of the Federation and Valden II. Gameplay Now, if a Separatist is on the away team. They will be given the choice to Sabotage the mission causing it to fail and stealing the point from the Loyalist. If you have any actions at all, this is when you are allowed to use them, and the result of those actions will be announced at day start in 24 hours. As usual, during the night phase players are limited to two post per player in the thread, and the game will move on to day two in 24 hours. -

You can also use it to basically just copy someone's vote off of the Vote Table at the top of the thread, so Vote Category 5 Hurricane or Vote Mojoman would work too in this situation, or Vote OrangeP47 now. -

Finally finished formatting the table and added it in. Should be at the top of the thread from now on. And I'll update the first thread post to make it easier to keep track of the final votes for each day. -

Day One Despite what was supposed to be an easy mission disaster has struck once again. The Captain and second in command along with various security and command personal suffered an unforeseen teleporter incident while transporting back to the ship. Due to the multiple redundant security systems built into the teleportation device, it is safe to assume that the device has been tampered with and the series of setbacks that have plagued the ship since it's arrival in orbit above Valden II have taken a much more sinister meaning. In response emergency protocols are now in effect, and the remaining officers have been forced to fill vacated positions and continue to deal with the growing insurgency on Valden II while still trying to hunt down the traitors in their own midst. Gameplay The game ends once one side gains three out of five points over the course of a possible five away missions. A point is awarded for the Loyalist completing an Away Mission without it being Sabotaged by at least one Separatist member on the team, the Separatist are awarded the point instead of the Loyalist if they choose to use the Sabotage action while being part of the Away Team. In order to select players for the away team you must use the following two actions. ##Nominate <Target 1, Target 2, Etc..> - This will also count as you using the vote action for your own nomination. So in effect, you specifically can't vote for someone other than the players you Nominated for the Away Team. ##Vote <Player> - Support a players Nominated candidates. Or basically vote for the same players they're voting for. Additionally, Fleet Command has seen fit to give you access to an experimental device known as an Exocomp, designation "Town Bot". This device can be voted on to replace one of the Crew members of the Away Team, and the ships engineering department guaranteed that the device is fully operational and will remain Loyal to Star Fleet. -

It's actually an alien parasite mimicking your gameboy advance. The good news is it doesn't require batteries anymore though. -

Shade939 replied to Shade939's topic in Forum Games
Well I need six players in game so I can balance out the probability of Town picking Town by RNG. But I can get a bit creative to work around that. @Retaliation or @Killing_You, any chance of you joining? Otherwise as long as I can get @Category 5 Hurricane in I have a simple game mechanic to throw in that should still work. -

Well, I guess I'll have to be a bit more aggressive in seeing who's interested or not and there reasoning behind it. @Retaliation @Killing_You @FRAYDO @ChopBam @iLikeToSnipe And if you can think of anyone else you'd want to ask about this game that you think you could get in contact with.
