The annoying part is even if we find scum there's still the problem of dealing with all of this rivalry business, since it's not exactly fair to ignore a victory condition given to you by the GM since that'll effect game balance, and then we're reduced to Rivals having to purposefully keep scum alive in order to achieve their objective since eliminating scum ends the game...
-
Mafia edit: 3. We appear to have a fairly weak scum team based on what's been happening these past few night, unless they've been countering FRAYDO's ability the entire time.
-
Normally, I'd probably go with the ratio of lives in games and compare it to a ratio for scum member so something like each member has to take out two Pokemon for everyone they lose. But then you have other things to consider that effect that. 1. Scum can't hide since we have a cop in game that effectively can't be eliminated from the game. 2. We have rivals in game that's only purpose it seems is to help scum by eliminating players from the game for them. 3. We appear to have a fairly weak scum team based on what's been happening these past few night, unless they've been counting RAYDO's ability the entire time. Taking point two into consideration, it might entirely be possible that we actually only have a single scum member, and the rivals are supposed to serve as impromptu teammates.

At the very least, I think I want to wait and confirm from Orange that he received the same PM as Irish for FRAYDO using his ability on him...
-
It's this easy to find Team Rocket, then they'd have to have some sort of serious advantage during the battle phase at the very least...
-
As far as counters go, there just has to be something Scum could do to mess with FRAYDO's ability, since they clearly don't have the means of eliminating a player during the night phase or even if they're reduced down to two Pokemon instead of one. Otherwise, we have a situation where FRAYDO has managed to find the alignment of 40% of the players in game before we've even had a single player eliminated, and we've reduced the suspect pool of scum to a single nights worth of battles...
-
Yep, and here it is.
-
Pretty certain Jeod posted it in the thread, but he had a sarcastic remark about how you could save pokecoins between nights just like real money... Or he clarified it in a PM with me when I was asking about mechanics near the game start, so he can confirm it later.
-
No, at a minimum he has to get one night when he can use his ability since poke coins are saved between nights.
-
So, how many nights would FRAYDO get to use his ability before he could possibly be eliminated?
-
How do you eliminate a player in this game?
-
To state the obvious, but how exactly does a cop work in a seven player game without having some sort of major counter to it at the very least?
-
Actually, you should have three items since you won which gives you a bonus item.
-
You're easily one of the best choices to throw into a double battle today, with three lives and two items, plus we're going to end up with 60% of the players in a battle today.
-
And how do you feel about fighting yourself today Orange?
-
Right, I've got you covered Category 5.
-
Yep, that's definitely a one sided engagement...
-
If had boosted his special before this fight to 75 /70 then that's where that'd come from.
-
Agh, forgot the type reduction.
-
Without a stat boost, still a bit higher I beleive. (2.4 * 90 * .71) = 154.28 / 50 = 3.08 + 2 = 5.08
-
Damage should be significantly higher though, shoudln't it? (2.4 * 90 * 1.07) = 231.42 / 50 = 4.62 + 2 = 6.62
-
It should be past hammer time by the way.
-
I mean, that's one way to get us to fight. Although I would preferred a more straightforward tournament styled game for that.
-
And yet, we still have this presented as a mafia game with a hidden Mafia group that we're supposed to eliminate in the form of Team Rocket...
-
Why not?
