But the GM cannot confrim extra information upon request. He can only repeat information that the character should already "know" even if that info is wrong.

Ok, I'll go into GM mode to explain this.
Say Louis sends her action to target Jeod. So her character leaves her house and goes to where she thinks Jeod's house is, and takes away the person in the house. What happens if the person that was in that house, was not Jeod? Would she technically know that?

Otherwise roles like mine are instantly found. Defeats the purpose.

The PM you receive will assume that you targeted the person you think you targeted. The GM can't confirm who you actually targeted.

I agree, it's an excellent case. Jeod's hiding something and has changed his story to adapt to what we know.
But I think the case works better assuming that Jeod was slowly revealing he was jailed/blocked. But unless there is a second unclaimed jailor/blocker, he wasn't. After a night where there was no kill, why admit to being blocked? I don't understand what Jeod is doing.
I know why TheIrishman admitted to it, I pushed him to do so. He probably wouldn't have otherwise.

This is fair, and I very well might go along with it.
The problem I'm having is that I can see an angle where Jeod is actually town, and the only reason we're paying so much attention to him is because he is the one talking. TheIrishman hasn't really contributed anything.

Yeah, I'd really like TheIrishman to get in here and talk. Jeod's baffling blabbering is becoming bothersome. As far as I'm concerned, if the NK was stopped by something, TheIrishman is suspect #1.

I don't believe there is a second jailer, and that if you actually did have an action fail, it was for a different reason.

Based on what I have said, I could have tracked Louis to TheIrishman, or watched TheIrishman and saw Louis visit.

I mean, I guess. In general it's better for scum to end on MYLO instead of LYLO, but I'm not sure that's worth the risk of extending the game.

This is why I didn't jump out and go "Louis is lying, she actually visited TheIrishman!" because it makes sense that she didn't know she actually targeted TheIrishman.
