Just a random thought but would it be possible to make it so the wrench can only repair empty vehicles? This way the Mutant Hijacker can't repair friendly vehicles who are engaging GDI.

I don't think that'll be needed. The repair rate isn't going to be too efficient.

Riot shielding  sounds awesome! It brings me back to the days of counter strike. (will he still have his emp mines?)

The mutant wrench is cool, will it have limited or unlimited ammo?

Nod also getting a repair pad ? Not sure how I feel about that. I mean the repair vehicle, mutant wrench, and a repair pad seems a little much. Considering GDI will have no mobile repair option.

We're playing around with the EMP idea and thinking about giving that to the Enforcer. We also may have something else that we maybe giving the Riot Trooper on a later build. ;)

Wrench will be limited and slow.

The choice to give Nod a repair pad was not an easy one but its definitely needed . Nod currently has no way to sell unused vehicles and it currently takes two people to repair one vehicle which doesn't sit well for small games. On the plus side, the repair pad will act differently to the GDI one.... for example, the pad won't be able to be destroyed BUT the MRV's on the pad will. Destroying one or two will greatly slow down Nod's repair process. As for the GDI not having any type of mobile repair option, I understand this concern but  GDI has a larger amount of "push" style weapons so I'm not sure that giving them some sort of field repair option wouldn't over power them even more. This will also help stop the MRV issue of them being left in the base unattended.

interessting thing about the riot troop shield and the limpat drones because how will these then function and OMG and con yard where you can build something inside pls bring us the possibility to rebuild structers ore to build new ones pls this will be so awesome if you can build it and with tools in the yard also repair damage buildings

What our goal is you ask it is victory General James Solomon GDI

We'll have more details later, on how the limpets and the Riot troopers shield will function.

I am SO excited for the new update of Tiberian Sun Reborn. The rush of excitement is so great that I have to ask. What is the estimated time of release for update 2.0, assuming preparation goes well?

We really don't want to set a release date at this time, because there is a lot that needs testing.

  5. Well this is an easy one. In the 1940's The Soviets loved Christmas and when the AMERICAS found out, they we're irate at the fact that another country could love Christmas as much as the AMERICAS. So, thus began the great Christmas War of 1942. Many lives were lost on this bloody Christmas Day until finally both teams stood up and said "How dare us fight like this on the birthday of our Jesus." The Sovs threw down their arms and promised to never love Christmas again. The General decided to sneak Christmas paraphernalia onto his favorite Military Tanks but little did the Soviet army know that the General failed many of his art classes in the old country. That Symbol is a Christmas tree, and is there to remind everyone that the General will always find a way to sneak his terrible camo into Soviet warfare.

P.S. No for real...that looks weird and should be changed.

  6. one of my original ideas were; either have a repair terminal inside the conyard which costs some good amount of money (example being: $2700) to activate an "advanced repair system" timed ability that lasts for 3 minutes, and has a cooldown of 7 minutes (gives the ability some balance in terms of spam reduction, and gives a slightly hefty price to keep your defenses up and running) kind of acts as a "golden wrench" of sorts, but repairs defenses 65% of that which a GW can in 1 lifetime, and 50% for main base structures. (again all example percentages) losing the power plant (if there is one) renders the terminal locked and unavailable to use (which will make power plants a bigger target, and something more valuable to defend on low tech maps with a conyard).

or, the conyard can just repair buildings 20% faster, and defenses 50% faster, and if taking damage, will not allow any building to be repaired by the conyard until it stops receiving damage for 20 seconds so it can begin repairs again I just want defenses to be kept alive longer........ (;- ;)

I'm digging that idea but what if we added a stage system to it, example:

Team Donate 1500 for stage one repair - 15% repair rate

3000 for stage two repair - 30 % repair rate

5000 for stage three repair - 45% repair rate

Or something along those lines with an adjustment to the rates of course

  7. I had this idea for TSR, What if having a CY ment that if you lost certain buildings the CY could act in a supporting role for the building that was lost.

Example: if you had a CY but lost your

WF - you could receive reforcements every "X" amount of time

Ref = Team donation every "X" amount of time

Bar= could still allow "X" unit to be bought

Helipad =  "X" unit could arrive every "X" amount of time

PP= could allow for AP base defenses to stay on when in low power mode. (Current low power mode turns off defenses)

    along with self building repair

  8. You know who else can do that? Taskmaster. Just by observing someone, he can learn their entire skill set, and has watched clips of the Avengers on fast forward so that he could predict (and execute) all of their moves at a very high speed.

And since Cap can beat Taskmaster, I don't think this is a major advantage for Tony.

And that's the difference between human error and AI. Taskmaster often makes mistakes, Tony's AI (unless bugged) Doesn't

  9. I can understand your eagerness, and trust me when I say I'm ready for a NEW and Improved TSR. We are working around the clock right now and plan on haveing tons of awesome stuff to pull the fans and the interest back.

We have not set an exact time because we don't want this release to be rushed. We want the best for our fans and the best for our game. We our planning a full face lift for TSR 2.0 including new units, possibly new building, balance and an armor overhaul and even new menu screens. We will be updating the fans as much as we possible can. All we ask for in return is patience.

In the end we hope to bring you the most successful and complete version of TSR possible. Just think about it like APB. Gamma pretty much killed the game but Delta resurrected it. We hope to achieve the exact same thing.
