Chieftain here will debunk some of the worst myths - that have even been taken for granted as the truth - about world war 2 US tanks. So, was the Sherman Firefly the end-all be-all Sherman tank of the war? Was the US army really stupid for not building stronger tanks like Germany did? Why did the Commonwealth forces suffer more crew losses in tanks than the US forces? Is the sky blue?
