There's nothing either Shade or I have said that is a confirmed lie, at least as far as I can remember for Shade. Confirming Shade will benefit everyone.

Not getting a flip is not a trump reason to not have any lynch attempt. There is one main reason to lynch, to get rid of hostiles. The secondary reason is to get information. Either Shade is lying and almost certainly hostile or he's telling the truth and isn't hostile, so attempting to lynch him would satisfy the primary reason either way. Then we will also learn for certain if he was telling the truth about his claim giving us some information. Also, it's not up to him. It's up to all of us. And on top of that, I find it odd that you theoretically wouldn't want to see someone hostile to town be lynched just because you can't see their flip.

But Shade would be safe as claimed, and then we get to confirm 100% he's telling the truth and he's no longer in danger of being lynched or killed by town...

That does not make any sense at all... Shade has claimed lynchproof, if he's telling the truth no harm will come to him. If he's lying he's probably scum or TP, which we seem to agree on. His current claim is JoAT who turned into lynch proof vanilla. So what concern could there be about lynching him? We need facts, and anything as small as confirming Shade would help.

You don't want to test Shade's lynch proof claim? It'll be far more productive than a nolynch. Either Shade is telling the truth and nobody dies or he's lying and we catch him in a lie, which probably means he's scum.

Here's my proposal. If we're going to do a no lynch we try lynching Shade instead. Prove his lynch proof claim. That'll at least give us something.

We can try a nolynch, but if that gets us nowhere we're back to the drawing board. Scum knows who's trusted. If they have any killing ability they'll be picking us off at night. As far as we know, we just need to lynch ChopBam to end the game.

My read off of ChopBam right now is that he's playing it safe, not scum hunting. That stinks of scum to me.
