  1. Fair enough. Although I won't lie, I miss the old system where they just chunked their depth charges from the same launcher as the missiles.

To be fair, though, at least part of that comes from most of my game experience so far being in games with less than 10 people, where getting any kind of escort (besides the voices in my head :v ) was a fantasy, and I can understand how putting it back that way would be likely to make destroyers *too* powerful

On a semi-related note, can we get the ability to sell subs? Even with the fact that selling a sub would just mean a quick death, there's been plenty of times I'd rather lost the infantry (who I was expecting to lose anyway from the moment I bought the sub) and gotten the sale money back, than literally have no option but to jump out and lose the sub and my infantry anyway for fear of leaving a sub lying 'round for the Allies to steal.

EDIT: also it's a huge bummer about being unable to change vehicle handling on the fly - that's one thing I woulda suggested as a possible way to make depth charges less useless.

  2. I will say that the destroyer's depth charge feels... functionally useless. Since it requires the destroyer to 1) catch up to the sub while 2) turning its ass to the sub and then 3) hit a very hard to see, moving target with very hard to aim weapons

in which time the sub will murder death kill the destroyer.

  3. Is it just me, or is credit income when shooting infantry... completely missing? Unless you land a killing shot, in which case it seems almost like only the person who did the kill gets any credits - and only for the amount of damage they did. Correct me if I'm wrong, there, but that's what *seems* to be the case every time I've played Fissure the last couple days. That's pretty darn frustrating, especially as soviets when an allied medic is in play because it makes actually landing kills that much harder, which means making any credits at all is that much harder. It's rather frustrating.

  4. Hahaha Wally, exactly what I was thinking.

Well, almost exactly. More along the lines of "One door closes, I'll bash another open if I have to"

Not sure exactly why I got laid off but it might have to do with the fact that when they started working us 7 days a week, my health just wouldn't let me keep going at that rate, and I missed a couple days.

Of course now I'm in pretty dire financial straits till I can find a new job. :/

  5. It's a mixed bag for me.

cons: Six and seven day weeks, more of the latter then the former.

    It's dirty dirty work

    Super stressful

Puts my transition on hold because like hell are these guys knowing I'm trans

Pros: I get to drive a forklift

I get to drive a different, more complex and fun forklift

For my first job the pay is insanely good

    That overtime pay :D

  6. Hey guys. Old APB player that heard about the BHP/W3D Hub split and Reborn's release and got curious. Figured I'd say hi to some old friends while I was at it. Used to go by Glaedr and Glaed, a long time ago. Not anymore though.

Nice to see there's still some life left in Reborn and AR.
