TBH I think this is set up so everyone, lore wise, can be either faction. I don't know anything about 40k but I think that was the point of this station, it's a specific setting where flavor doesn't matter.

I haven't played it this weekend because I downloaded Outer Worlds finally, and also Cook Serve Delicious, but maybe tomorrow.

The thing is, there's like an ongoing plot between him, and there's emails you get in a running narrative (your entire sky scraper uses reply all). One of the first emails is like "Did you know 85% of children 12 and under do not know the United States used to have 50 states, as compared to the 41 we have now after losing 9 to war and flood?" and then later when unlocking decorations for your restaurant some of the item descriptions are like "This antique hubcap was found in the ruins of Los Angeles... etc"

Like seriously if I had half the BS-crafting skill of whoever wrote the faux-wiki entries for this game I'd be even more of a mafia god.

I've been playing Cook Serve Delicious 2 and ya'll would really appreciate some of the humor from it.

Clearly that just means we're chugging back some 6-packs before we head to the bar.

Ye Star Trek's producer's bought it. Granted, apparently Iceland's hot springs/volcanos filling in for a strange and exotic alien planet was pretty novel and untapped last season, though can only do that for so long before the "not California/Washington State/British Columbia" novelty wears off.
