  1. And also to be completely fair, this is why I gave Chopbam much of a pass after his vote on Irish, too. His D2 vote has made me reconsider, though.
  2. Looking at it in respect to Voe, Voe was the first one to call me out for not reading about Depth Charges. In general wagonomics, it's not the first person that's scum. It's the second or third person. FRAYDO looking to take advantage would be more likely scum than Voe being scum and leading the charge himself.
  3. His only contribution was a drive-by vote D1 on what was at the time an easy target.
  4. And thus the difference between playing the game and fishing. Glad you agree with me
  5. It's an example, Shade. Do you disagree there are times when information should be held sequestered?
  6. There's a time and place for everything. At some times it's best to keep info hidden. Example: We don't want the airfield/spy plane to claim, lest they get nightkilled, etc. Before you start arguing, this is just an example/in principle statement. It's not meant as commentary on the current state of the game.
  7. Fishing is when you try and get out secret details about roles or something (See: Shade). Just asking where everyone stands is called playing the game.
  8. I'm not submerged right now actually, I was yesterday. Alstar's vote yesterday was good though.
  9. And follow up as to why Voe is low end of null: I'm not sure I 100% buy the mechanics of the move or being unable to submerge close to land or whatever. I'm willing to admit that we just don't know, though, so I'll let it slide. There's also the vote on Jackoderp in his favor.
  10. I've been pretty vocal, but if you're lazy I'll summarize. Town reads: Jeod, Shade Null reads: Cat 5 (though outside chance of being scum), Alstar (though leaning town), Nodlied, Killing You, Voe (though low end of null, basically I'm willing to put the issue on the back burner) Scum reads: Chopbam, FRAYDO Chopbam I've just discussed. As for FRAYDO, his "drive-by" nature rubs me the wrong way, especially the random vote on me D1 without much substance or chance to defend myself. He didn't do much useful D2. Others of note: Jeod and Shade I townread for reasons previously discussed in detail. I like Alstar's vote yesterday, I don't think he was bussing. I would, however, like him to weigh in now that he has more time and it's the weekend. We need town to start forming a consensus instead of popping in and out. Cat 5 hasn't done much to sway me one way or the other, which normally I'd say is a scummy read, but he did say he wasn't going to try very hard this game. I allow him as an outside possibility of being scum. Killing You had been rubbing me the wrong way but his argument with Shade last night was good. Not enough to move him to town read but enough that I don't think he's a lead.
  11. The thing is I've mislynched Chopbam like a tooooon, he really is my blind spot. I want the lurkers to speak up a bit more, not only for that, but also because we're likely to face 2 more scum. Even if we nail Chopbam, there's likely someone else out there, and if we just lock in without discussion we'll have a lot harder time finding them. Let's make everyone stick their neck out and put in where they stand. Then, no matter what happens, we'll have more info to go on.
  12. I'd also like FRAYDO to get in here and weigh in. Alstar too, though I'll say at this moment I'm not suspicious of him, just that I want his opinion.
  13. TBH I think he's slippery and might be trying to pull something, but I'm always biased against him it seems so I'm not the best judge. He was in on Jacko but then tried to change it to Shade, when Shade really started to take off. He might have been trying to be ultra-sneaky and save Jacko.
  14. Though this reminds me. Jacko was apparently right next to me. I never got any "something happening nearby you" alerts like some claim to have had.
  15. I'll point this out in my favor, but I've been successfully submerged tested too btw.
  16. Claims must be flexible and develop as new information presents itself
  17. I think KY would know if he could avoid the depth charge
  18. I think he's just being obtuse. Besides, even if he was, what's the end game? Gang up on the spy plane? Nobody's claimed, and even if they had, the spy plane is pretty clearly a soviet unit regardless of whatever it is it does. This is a tall ladder, and I don't think scum would try to bark up it when they have other options.
  19. Town are probably more open about their positions than scum, on the margin, so it's not necessarily about what you see, but how people react to what they see.
  20. TBH revealing someone's FULL coordinates before they awknowledge them is 1) kinda rude, 2) not actually a good test, because it wouldn't catch anyone in a lie when they've just been quiet. The airfield still has plenty of places to hide, and the plane might have thought it was already down in Q4 or something so stuck to the left side of the map.
  21. I mean true, as time goes on, the hidden space naturally decreases. Hence why I wasn't too eager to be shooting earlier, but saying the spy plane shouldn't spy is an extreme.
  22. Good luck with that theory. I don't think it's going to gain any purchase.
