    I think the difference between land and sea would be shown though. Unless you have a rule saying it won't, I'm not going to follow your logic on the matter.

    I feel like detected on land would be land but with the yellow outline. The legend is just concise.

    I think if KY (that's who claimed that spot?) had been sub penned he'd have let us know, and it's not land, so... You're out of your gourd, it's the spy plane. While maybe there could have been better spots, those are valid spots to hit.

    There are ways to avoid the Depth Charge eh? In my PM (which I've read carefully now), it explicitly says submerging does not block the depth charge.

    I'd bet on night firing, but as for wagering on if that's actually what did it, I don't think we can say. The fact that nobody has spoken up about it *at all* leads me to believe someone shifty is involved on at least one end of that transaction (and scum on scum fire is unlikely, as previously discussed)

    That's the thing, not only do we not know who is hit at M12, we ALSO don't know who fired.

    Honestly, I'd be satisfied with a "hey it's me!" If it's someone I find towny then we don't have to fire, but if it's someone who's scummy, then maybe we fire

    I'd been thinking detect personally, and while I suppose it might reveal as empty, I still think it would detect.

    Well clearly it reveals, it would be really stupid if a miss that hit land revealed as water because someone's a sub, and then later it needs to be changed to land when it's revealed "for real". That would be a GM nightmare.

    No it was me. I'm an attack sub, so even though I can't hit land, land shows up. If there's a thing there it would probably be detected maybe.

    If Jeod's an attack sub he can't hit anything on land anyway.

    In general I'm wary of shots, and shots in that area in particular (though less so now that we know N12 is water), but I don't mind pressing this angle. I might even join in, if there's nothing better, but I think we have time to ask for any involved parties to explain themselves. The day is young, after all.

    I was more referring to the fact that, knowing Verti, he might not accept your target correction. The jury is still out on whether or not your shot was actually wise.

    In case I die this night, I want to get it out there that I'm suspicious of FRAYDO as well. I think Chopbam might be trying to pull a fast one too, though that's practically a meme by this point.
