  1. Don't forget that space allows for three-dimensional movements.
  2. Not really, an easier away team version vs. a more RPG ship based version are two completely different styles of games.
  3. Let's see, balancing mostly comes down to how many players need to be sent on a mission. So, with 2 Mafia in an 8 Player game, it'd be 3 for the first mission, 4 for the second, then 5 for the third, 4 for the fourth, and 5 for the fifth. And that's based on the ratio of a 1:4 chance of someone being Mafia.
  4. Could always consider changing the format to making it more objective based. Vote for which players go on a mission into the Black Fortress, and if a Mafia member is on the team they can sabotage that entire mission causing it to fail. First side to 3/5 successes/losses is the winner. It's a tested format in other similar games so it should work.
  5. And you can cross references the terms with one of the wikis for it like this one to get a better idea of what the character is and there background. https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Warhammer_40k_Wiki
  6. https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Blackstone_Fortress Here you can see the actual playable characters for the boardgame this is inspired by.
  7. This will probably be a more chaotic mafia game than the last one, with a greater emphasis on RPG type mechanics. Still, you're more than welcome to join up, and it's not really expected that you need to be entirely familiar with the settings, so a general understanding works of the universes theme.
  8. Off the top of my head, you mainly have things like Rogue Traders, Xenos Mercenaries, Inquisitors and their Retinues, Chaos Cultist, Tech Priest and their Retinues. A Black Stone fortress is an ancient alien space station, containing untold riches and valuables from ages past. Generally anyone who'd want to loot or study powerful relics from an ancient dungeon for their own means. Or would find themselves hired by said people.
  9. Flavor wise, it's probably easier to pick a type of character you want to play, then Retaliation to assign a character that matches it.
  10. Also, to be fair, I had no idea if I could talk Anon_Kat into switching his vote or not before hammer if at all.
  11. Skip to the end of the dead doc where Jeod quoted the PM I sent him before hammer.
  12. Sure, I'll consider it to be a scum tell and I'll lynch you for similar behavior in the future then.
  13. Basically, I'm going to roleblock you tonight, and we'll see if that'll end the game.
  14. He would be the logical choice, considering Coolrock was previously targeted, and the most outstanding characteristic he had at that time was trying to use an Allied Night Action. And since Coolrock couldn't be controlled and he was a Soviet role.
  15. @Category 5 Hurricane, well that was productive enough. I'll vote Mojoman today. ##Vote Mojoman
  16. Because that hasn't happened yet for one thing. The other being the TP might still win, which doesn't mean Town should lose though.
