  1. Yeah, it's just a mistake that implies your talking with Irish in the scum doc...
  2. ##Vote Orangep47 Yeah, I'm going to go with the obvious interpretation that you've been talking with Irish in the scum doc, because he's rather obviously hasn't said anything in this thread to support your statement...
  3. I do have to ask the obvious question, said where exactly?
  4. It's really easy to hide as scum if no one actaully pays attention to the fact that you've made one comment over the course of the entire game so far, so there isn't any sort of evidence to indicate if your mafia or town this game and attention is being focused instead on any slightly more suspicious player since they've actaully bothered to make more than one comment so far.
  5. So, anyone care to comment on the @TheIrishman this game?
  6. Yeah, I didn't realize that's what he was trying to do until after he pointed it out. There's a list of tells if someone is a doc and one of them is asking the doc to protect a player at night, iirc.
  7. Probably, meta reasoning more than often than not seems to be as effective as relying purely on RNG, after FRAYDO dies of course.
  8. Obviously it can be because I just did it. At the moment I'm mostly annoyed at just how likely it is that we're only catch scum through meta reasoning or RNG.
  9. Isn't one of the more effective scum gambits in this setup to claim to be the doctor in order to draw out a response from the real doctor? And it's a bit on the early side to start claiming your a doctor in the first day isn't it?
  10. Well, this is probably about as effective a route as anything else to take... I am a vanilla role.
  11. Are you laughing at the distinguished name of the Martini family?
  12. As you can guess, it's a very limited test that can't really be used on anything more than a single player before the first player death. So it can't really be used after your guess.
  13. My assumption was that's how it worked for everyone who was part of the mafia. So, anyone who didn't have a nickname was more than likely a town player then.
  14. You can see how imaginative iLTS was with my name...
  15. I kinda wanted to make certain to use it on a suspicious player though, and it's very limited in how and when it can be used... Although, an alternative means of using it is to basically have someone guess what my characters name is since it's obvious enough you should be able to figure it out based on your own characters name.
  16. And Orange, I actually find your responses satisfactory now.
  17. Also, can someone explain Jeod's reasoning to me?
  18. Probably, the effectiveness of revealing your name rather significantly decreased the longer you took to actually make it, since it gave you more time to think of an effective cover. Also, I really don't think the name matters given how obvious parts of mine are...
  19. To be fair, it's just as likely that I can assume you're given a slightly unique name if your town so you're worried about revealing it because you're afraid it'll obviously get you lynched.
  20. Well, considering that it'll indicate if you're town or not by sharing it, or at least part of it, mind sharing?
  21. It helps if you actually have some information to work with day one you know, like someone who might have a different role pm from you when you know your mafia...
  22. You're really lucky I'm not a fan of day one lynches...
