I'll agree with that. Town had no information at all to go on for this game. Scum could literally have any ability in game, and there would be nothing to help us figure out what they did other than a passive for visiting a player that hopefully triggered.

For everyone else, it's basically WH40K D&D dungeon exploring.
Mixture of primary and secondary objectives is probably the best way to do that.
You still need some way to classify players as Mafia or Town, but having a secondary objective that might result in them turning on their own side to a limited extent.
I wish I had made that connection before you outed yourself as scum. I obviously knew something was up with Town that game, just didn't take that train of thought out far enough for why that was..
