Considering I was role blocked, and I was also slashed by something, I'd like a better description to figure out for certain what the cause of the role block was.

At the moment, I'm assuming your passive role blocked me Irish, since Retaliation has an item to bypass it which I don't have.

I will state I did come prepared for this game if there were a lot of power roles in it. You didn't receive it, hence why I obviously knew my action failed.

Retaliation outed your role, but since you're re reading that, keep an eye on who's trying to raise a counterexample in those arguments from my original statements.

More information would be necessary to make that distinction clear, so I'm going with a standard setup for what roles would have those abilities instead. Part of the problem is it also didn't seem to work on my role, so all we know is it's a failed attempt to get me to spread an unknown virus.

Probably one NK and a TP with an infection ability.

We already know for a fact that FRAYDO was killed by a NK. The action I was targeted by is also most likely a scum action, given that fact, it is likely we have a player running around trying to infect other players with a virus. Also, given the fact I was targeted, it was likely that they wanted me to infect other players by me visiting them, or other players visiting me in turn.

Jeod might have intended to use the word infected instead in that PM, but I'm assuming infectious was intended in order to imply what could have happened.

But I might have just gotten the generic it failed to effect you message, and it was because of my ability instead.

It's probably worth mentioned but someone was trying to spread disinformation to counter my original statements about what happened to me. I was targeted by an ability that could have made me become infectious, I am not infectious from what sounded like random luck, and not because my ability stopped it.

Could be a zombie cult mechanic still. So a player becomes a necromorph after they die.

Although, probably a more relevant point is someone is probably going to use this ability again. And the next person is probably far less resistant than I am.
