I thought I remembered hibernation trance from somewhere so I went back and checked. It was an ability Jeod claimed to have, describing it as a self protection ability that costs 10 FP. Jeod was the only other self identified cha character aside from Orange and Fraydo, so I guess it would check out. Of course Jeod was a sith too. He probably still had light abilities to be able to blend in. It's a little weird that Shade wouldn't have mentioned it since he got into a kerfuffle with Jeod, thinking that he was making up hibernation trance to trick him into admitting he was a sith.

I wish Shade contacters would stop suddenly coming out with that info seconds after someone mentions them as a suspect.
-
Like who? Irish and I received light results from Nodlied and you have your force ghost thing. Unless we have any reason to doubt that info, it just leaves Voe and Cat5. Cat5 has been pretty secretive at times for my taste, but he would have had to been willing to throw Jeod under the bus if it was him. Voe is a little suspicious for me, especially cause he like flat out ignored my questions a couple times, but I hope it isn't him because I get the feeling he's on the road to becoming unstoppable.

I guess I should probably confirm too. No notifications about being sensed or what not.

Well damn, I was sure "Malacia" was going to be a dark power. Guess not. RIP Jon Ennis. :\

I'm not feeling too confident in the current trains for some reason, but I'm not feeling too confident in my other ideas either, so I guess I'll just go with it and see what happens. ##Vote Champion Retaliation ##Vote Sith KY

I think it's at least possible. If someone's a sith player and they get examined as doing something a light Jedi would do, that's a big help for them. The longer they survive, the less Jedi they have to deal with.
-
I think it's always possible that sith players could do light actions just because they know people are going to be looking for dark night actions. Just cause it doesn't do anything to help the dark cause doesn't mean it doesn't help them.

I have a date with my friend tonight and this stresses me out way too much to the point that I'm not really even having fun. Probably won't post again until tomorrow if anyone is looking for me.
-
Well that's the thing. This whole "it has to be KY or Sunflower" thing makes no sense. We have one night and suddenly like everyone is "cleared" and nobody even beats an eyelash about it or questions anything. I don't get it at all. It's just like "Oh okay, you said that person is fine with no justification or explanation. Okay!" And when I spend hours coming up with evidence, the only person who even reads it is Irish and Chop. I dunno.

I would have to be a pretty heartless bitch to do that. It's a team game. If I was a sith, I'd want to get through it with my team not throw my partner to the wolves after three seconds. Especially when I don't even know what I'm doing and would need a lot of advice. I feel like pointing out too that there's no actual proof that what you and/or Retal are saying is true too. The whole thing is pretty darn convenient.
-
Also you don't have to take my word for it. Just look at the transcripts.
-
I guess but actions speak louder than mysterious unfalsifiable claims in my book.

There was one comment Jeod made when he was trying to get people to vote Nodlied "Voe is 100% not sith" that might be kinda suspicious in hindsight. But it could just be that he didn't want to waste the Fear plant like people mentioned before. Maybe it's because I'm new and don't understand thought processes, but I have no clue why people keep suspecting me. I was attacking Jeod hard for like the entire d1 phase, and it was a close vote. Why would I lead that train if he was my partner. That would be really dumb.
-
Yep! Maybe I should follow your example lol. Anyways, I'm not sure why Jeod would offer Irish up as a champion if they were Sith buddies unless he just thought there was no way he would lose.
-
This game is so frustrating. I spent hours researching stuff only to have my biggest leads slapped down with one sentence.
-
Well I really don't like that he didn't visit me, so he can join the club.
-
Ugh mafia edit: Thanks*
-
Thank Irish. In my first turn, I learned T1 and used my ability to resist dark powers. In my second turn I learned T2 and used my new ability to increase my force. In this turn, I learned T1 and used the resist dark powers ability again.
-
How come you didn't say that before?

Whelp, I haven't gotten any messages from Shade (at least AFAIK? I still don't really know how some things in this game work, but I don't have any available google docs). I actually wasn't able to do Sense Meditation to defend myself because of a miscommunication between me and Verti, I actually only had 40 FP to use last turn. I couldn't tell anyone that because I didn't want to let the Sith know, but I had to change course and only use my ability that prevents dark powers from working on me along with learn. To answer your question Irish, yeah, it's the same force maximize ability. Okay so now that I got that out of the way, I'm dealing with some horrible insomnia as a result of antibiotics I'm taking...so I had a lot of time on my hands to go back and look at Jeod's interactions. Based on my research, there's a couple things I feel: People who I'm confident are light side Jedi: ChopBam: Not only did Jeod offer him up as a compromise Sith candidate in d1, but he jumped on board the Jeod sith train twice. I don't think he would do that if he were Sith. He's the person I'm most confident is light side right now. KY: He thought the force ghost thing was worth a try and was on the Jeod sith train and has seemed pretty helpful People who I'm currently very suspicious of: Retaliation: He jumped to Jeod's defense when I initially voted him Sith in d1, saying Jeod had done nothing to deserve that. Also, it seemed like Retal and Jeod worked together to save each other from appearing in the d1 duel. Jeod nominated Irish to be champion and when things hadn't shifted, he made a post something like "hey guys Irish needs more champion votes!" Retal did the same thing for Jeod, making a post saying that we needed more Sith votes to save Jeod. Thats REALLY suspicious to me. Retal didn't vote Jeod sith in d2 either. Orange: Where is Shade buddy? I didn't get visited by any force ghost and I'm not newly corrupted either. Also why did you switch to Shade at the last minute in d1? Is it because you broke the tie to save Jeod? The fact that you kept priming me at the last minute for the possibility that Shade wouldn't contact me was pretty suspicious too. It was almost like you didn't want a volunteer because then you could come up with some BS to "confirm" it. I admit a lot of your other conversations make you seem pretty solid light side, but maybe you're just very good at hiding being dark.
-
Well if he is reading this, just wanna let him know that I'm pretty much screwing almost my entire force pool for this.
-
I learned a t2 ability and used a night action to increase my force points. My force total might be a little out of whack because of a typo that Verti was going to fix for next turn. It should be 60 instead of 50. Also wooo for calling Jeod as sith from pretty much the get go. I really don't think the force ghost thing was as important as he thinks. Lots of people were already suspicious before then. The only thing it did is manage to save Orange from the duel probably. Btw on that note, is this force ghost contact still happening? Am I still throwing down the force gauntlet on myself to protect from dark attacks?
-
I'd like confirmation at some point about whether I'm going to be the volunteer for force ghost thing. Protecting myself is going to be intensive and put me at a major disadvantage in the future, and I don't want to do it unless I know there's a good reason.
