Another thing I noticed btw is I don't think Voe used his combat force ability in the duel. He could have been hiding it if it's a dark ability. But then again... I bet sith probably have normal abilities too to help them blend in.
-
How come?
-
Is there anyone you don't think is town?
-
I guess when like half the players aren't posting, it's kinda inevitable that we pick an active poster for the sith. But the problem is, if they're not really a sith, we just knocked off someone who was contributing to the debate.
-
What do you mean? We know that he beat Voe.
-
Maybe some more food for thought. Shade just lost a duel pretty badly in the practice round. That doesn't mean he isn't a sith, but I could see why a sith might want to send him to a duel, thinking he's likely to lose again.
-
As if there is a significant reason to suspect anyone right now?
-
Yeah that's kinda weird lol.
-
I got that impression too but it was still a chance to help the team that he declined.
-
Well if we're looking for other sith possibilities, Category 5 has been acting kinda suspicious. I was told before the game started that he's usually super into everything unless he's on the scum team, and he definitely hasn't been into things so far. His reply to Verti's hint about the FBI was kinda suspicious too. Usually people on the jedi team want to help each other out. But I'm hesitant to put much into it yet because it's still early. And with the way my life is going lately, I totally understand not being excited about things.

You can change your vote any time you want. Am I the only person that reads the rules? "If the player doesn't vote for a Champion and Sith at all, he/she will automatically be voted for the Duel (as Sith). You can also vote for yourself to be a Champion if you want, but you can't vote for yourself to be Sith yourself. Any player can change their vote anytime they want."

You said you didn't think learning dark powers could lead to a Jedi falling to the dark side in D0. You said you wanted to be a "Gray Jedi" too, which is like between light and dark. I'm not sure whether that matters or not, but the rules were kind of ambiguous about whether players could request to be a sith or not.
-
My reasons are 1) He started the wave of challenges in D0 which prevented us from having a vote. 2) He advocated for the idea that Jedi learning dark powers isn't dangerous 3) He voted sith for a what I think is a completely ridiculous reason.

##Vote Champion Relatiation for now. I might change if there are more volunteers later. ##Vote Sith Jeod
-
Anyway, is anyone other than Retaliation interested in being champion? I feel like a volunteer champion would be best.
-
Maybe but when I was reading the discussion it just seemed like normal conversation and then suddenly you just up and accused him of being a sith out of the blue.
-
Tbh I think accusing someone of being sith over a minor disagreement about hypothetical mechanics is very suspicious. It would be a very scum thing to do to try to distract the Council with forcefully defended theories that are nevertheless, not any more likely than anyone else.
-
Can someone explain this hint to a newbie?
-
How come you think that?
-
Voe, I was wondering why you didn't use your combat force power in the duel (unless I missed it). The other three duelists all used their's.
-
I admit that a high FP value is suspicious, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a dark power. It could be just an important power. I dunno if tier 1 has any of those.
-
I was thinking the same thing. I guess there could still be some costly force power we don't know about though.
-
I see... guess we don't have much info to go on then.
-
Question: Does there not being any public status updates mean there probably weren't any major events happening during the night or do we only learn about status updates if players choose to reveal them?
-
You weren't imagining it. It was written like that in the PM character sheets. "##Challenge <player> - if you don't have a Sith vote on you currently, you can challenge a player for a Duel (if that player accepts, the duel will start sooner with challenged player starting)"
