The real Death Note game now begins...

Logic of night action dictates that either you go with "who did what" first, or which action takes precedence. In this case actions first use up the proposal/trust values required for the action and then the other actions take place. So you didn't know yet that your proposal will reset to 60 as that action will be resolved before morning. It's also retrospectively inconvenient to cancel a whole bunch of actions just because of one other action (which isn't even suppose to be a blocker action but a point modifier that is applied before day start and bonus income).

Well the only one using the Notebook would be Nodlied (to become Kira suspect and fulfill his own objective to clear Light), but we know Nodlied would never do it. Using the Notebook was tricky but everyone who used it got a special info about others or about themselves, even an ability. In that regards voe was right to explore this possibility.

I've made the game for you lad, so no matter how much I tried to come up with something that would fit, it always ended up you being the Shinigami playing others for fools. (in the original concept with 12-16 players, I planned to have two Shinigamis, preferably with opposite or conflicting objectives - just like cat5 pointed out, something like the "Judges" from the Hunger Games mafia, directing the game from background but competing with each other)

Not everyone played their character, in fact if you check the game characters later, maybe only Orange (and KY until he silently dropped) truly played the character... When I get time I will post an analysis of character plays though.

It wasn't Jeod who was controlling the conclusion of the game, so I wouldn't call him being on Kira's side. He only distributed death notes and had to make sure they were used. They could have been used for several purposes though as the game was more or less open to any tactic, and town, despite already having the best gear (guns, armor, auto mason tools, detective tools, etc), could even use the weapon of mafia. For example Jod could as well work with voe (who wanted to try the death note) or Mojoman who I suspected kinda flipped too to have the death note. The game was more objective oriented than team oriented, teams could be created as people saw fit (even suspects and detectives working together was already happening more than once in this game). Also Kira suspects were also guided to act more as lone wolves than a team, you can check from docs that Orange was risking when he opened an alliance with KY. Kiras could effectively betray each other in order to push their own objective, where detectives were more "team oriented". Hence what you say about balancing doesn't really or necessarily change things, and originally I had it 50% detectives 50$ suspects and 2 shinigamis. Up until last second, it was undecided whether Light wins the game. Category 5 could have let Chopbam to call reinforcements (replacement for L and his bodyguard). Also Mello was just one character in play, N was also Mello's replacement in case Mello won't use a notebook. So if you felt like Mello was too hard perhaps you could won with N Anyway I'll make a more detailed comment in the last day post.

Day 9 - Selection for the New World Nodlied has granted all of his Proposal Points as trust to Killing You before dying on the start of the day. He also passed his gun to him. . Killing You then spent all his Proposal Points towards Category 5 as trust as well as his Sports Car. What happens to Killing You next is kinda... bizarre. Watch the video to find out what exactly. Chopbam died in 3 days, peacefully, while he was sleeping. Until that event, he took no actions, including events such as using night actions. This blocked his call for N, the only successor of L still alive. Without this, the Kira case fell under Light's hand. Chopbam as Watari, the Japanese Task Force, died of heart attack! All members of the Task Force have been eliminated! L has no replacement, and as such, Light has won! Category 5 Hurricane as Misa Amane, the Kira Suspect, was the only human survivor... Jeod as Ryuk has accomplished his goal to get entertained, the Death Note was used more at least 5 times... I'm kind of disappointed already that it is unnecessary "Americanized" with stupid soundtrack, actors and action scenes. In that regards the Japanese movies were at least on target. Kinda similar feeling when I saw the Attack on Titan live action trailer which is trying to portrait it to Japanese setting when in fact it should be Germanic according to lore. This just proves that US film production recreating manga/anime keeps on failing just like DBZ and other crap they produced. Despite all this I'm still curious about the story and if it introduces more twists. (the original anime twist by the end wasn't all that good when Near "guessed" the x kira, compared to how L used to solve the case)
