Eh, I'm not actually concerned about it either way. Hell, I wouldn't even be bothered if I actually missed the limit. I probably won't, though. As long as other people are posting more, there will naturally be more to post about.

JeanneBean. I've pinged her on occasion about playing and I think she is interested as she really enjoyed playing these things, but doesn't have the time she used to be able to commit to playing. Back when she did play, she was more or less a stay-at-home Mom who really only needed to leave the apartment when she wanted to do something. She was taking classes but they were mostly of the online variety and she also didn't work very many hours whenever she had a job. Plus myself and my wife were roommates/next door neighbors so whenever she did need to do something on a timeline, she could recruit someone to watch the kid. Now she's a substitute teacher and working on her teaching license, and when she's home she's the primary caregiver for her child without myself or the wife to help because we've moved away into our own house a county away. Plus, I'm pretty sure her boyfriend actively discourages her from playing, but I've never confirmed that.

I am very ok with that fix.

It seems as if we're going to have to aim for the 20th instead of the 13th due to staffing issues at our work. While I'm at it, I have a proposal. Skyhater sounds like he will be unwilling to play from the current save. Since you guys were willing to effectively stall the game to give us a chance and try to have a more fun game, I came up with the idea that we could start from an earlier save. I know for sure we have one from February 1936, but I believe Nodlied should have one from when Skyhater's laptop crashed. I believe that save was before the Comintern made their critical strategic error that more or less ensured Axis victory. If the Comintern is allowed to take back that mistake and I'm allowed to make some changes based on what I learned since then, I think we should be able to make a more competitive game out of this, without having to start over completely.

How do you want to do the meeting? So far, I can't imagine a strategy that would get us to the point where we can win. Maybe can hold the isles, but I can't imagine getting to the point where we can do an invasion of Europe for like 10 years.

Shockingly, after running a test, I found out that I have access to a wildcard that may change the war in unexpected ways. I am actually available this Saturday but I don't know about the other two. I assume TheIrishman must work. October 13th is the earliest we can submit an ask off right now.

After speaking with both the filthy commies at work, it seems both of them are so down on their performance that they think they want to quit. And they aren't even at war with the Europeans yet! But not Britain! There is no quit in Britain. I mean, seriously, there isn't even a Q or a U. I'll be spending the time between now and the next game continuing from the save and see if I can dig myself out of this mess.

Yeah, he was Kurisu Makise, and was involved in Kamuixmod's time machine plot that flipped the game upside down, and early in the game he was quietly working against you by issuing time machine commands that would have countered your plans. Basically, he was quietly TheIrishman before TheIrishman was TheIrishman. I've only ever run two games on my own, plus another that I co-modded. I would run more, but I just never have the time available that would be required to properly GM a game.

How long do you Eurozone people think you're going to be able to play? Work is pressuring TheIrishman, myself, and maybe Skyhater (The Com China player) to get back to work when the game is over. I told them that the time the game takes is kinda indefinite, and probably depends on how late you guys plan to play.

Adding in PP would definitely change the balance back so that the more powerful moves don't have to be nerfed in accuracy just to make them fair, like I noticed Blizzard was. I do think keeping track of PP would be too much of a hassle, though. I'll tell you one thing I'd do if I was hosting a PokeMafia. 6 Moves. Because as fun as Pokemon can be, I get really irritated at the 4 move limit and how that really limits the tactical approaches that are usable. Another thing I'd do is make it so that it is possible that there are as many simultaneous battles as there are pairs of players. I'd set it up so that any player can challenge another player. If that player accepts, they will fight. If another pair decide to fight, they will too. If a player is challenged but the challenge is not accepted, if a majority vote for that fight to happen, it will happen anyway. This would allow the game to move quicker, and it would also allow all 6 Pokemon to be used before a trainer is eliminated instead of having them eliminated while half their roster is still in play.

I actually figured that HMs were not discarded, by Pidgey was the only one who could learn Fly anyway, and Seel was the only one who could learn Surf, so I never had the opportunity to use one more than once.
