  2. Oh I'm not on the dev team. Just a server mod. A few blogs ago they had an ad for positions they were hoping to fill. I don't know if those positions have changed, so I pinged two devs.

  4. Objective specific map: Allies must eliminate the Soviet Cloning Vats within a specified time. Whenever a Soviet player purchases a new infantry unit (with a 5 minute cooldown or something), the Cloning Vats make a bot version of the unit to attack the Allies. It doesn't have mind control, which is what everyone thinks of when they think 'Yuri', but it's closer to having a bit of Yuri in AR.
  5. In RA2, Yuri units were part of the Soviet team. Maybe you guys could develop special maps that have these Yuri units attached to the Soviet team? You could balance it out by adding a special Yuri's Revenge specific Allied unit to the Allied team.
  6. We created this role together, so I felt more knowledgeable about its workings. That's the point of a custom role. It's RAlistic to expect that the detonation won't go off and the player instantly killed if the player is hit by another vehicle.

  15. I'm not getting anywhere with Verti60. I should have been told I was dead the moment Mojoman's shot was resolved. I was led into a false sense of security believing that I'd become a random infantry unit at the end of the day. If I'd known that my death was secured, I would definitely have focused on a different player. Hope town can pull off a win. Good luck.

  17. Oh evidently Mojoman killed me when he shot me. But he triggered my detonation sequence and my death was delayed due to it. Funny how neither my PM, the role sheet, nor the shot resolution mention that I would die! This is CYOR II language caliber fuck-up.

  20. Disclaimer: I was supposed to become a random infantry unit on detonation. However, apparently Verti60 saw fit to allow that ability to be nullified if I were shot by a tesla unit, without letting me know in PM. I am not happy with this development. At all.
