  1. So @Retaliation and @kamuixmod, do you two intend to stick around for some more mafia games or was this a one-and-done thing due to it having been discussed and planned by you and Cat5 years ago?
  2. I just figured that multiple attractor field alterations were better for scum, and so chose to go for the "clean" route. I really put two-and-two together when Sillius mentioned she was Rounder 3.
  3. Your alignment is in your personality, then. At least you can see what I'm capable of when town--a relatively "boring" game, as you put it. Sadly, I did make a mistake. I knew during Day 4 that my having Reading Steiner and confirming you or Voe would mean kamuixmod would die N1. I remember reading that on the road and coming to that conclusion, thinking I'd have to set a counter-mail for it when I got home (the counter-mail being a replacement for kamuixmod's vote on D2 ad D3). I forgot to do so. If I'd done that, then I believe the game would have gone on as I'd planned with it ending on Day 5.
  4. @Chaos_Knight That's a nice explanation, thanks. I still blame Cat5, and I still believe I earned a town victory.
  5. I'll have my revenge sometime down the road when I host a more complex game like this and have the chance to watch everyone else squirm.
  6. Correct. The mechanics had flaws, but the outcome is the source. I have to admit that if scum had won, I wouldn't have cared since I would have viewed it as justice for Irish pulling all his stunts. However, given my efforts (posted above) compared to the outcome, I have every right to be angry. Yes, I knew about the RNG mechanics. What I did not know was that my alignment could be changed after my death, and I also did not know that the rest of the players wouldn't care about it. From an outsider's perspective, without having read the google docs, the information appears to show that town decided to try and "save" the scummy salty Irishman over me. I guess maybe he just threw the bigger temper tantrum.
  7. Then it shouldn't have been RNG'd in such a way, otherwise player's actions and words mean nothing and there is no reason to play. In this case, I can 100% blame the GM who had equal complaints about your Staplefahrer game.
  8. You shouldn't post an assumption like this without reading the game through. Here is what Jeod did: >Started the game as town >Made extremely helpful town posts to guide players in the right 'town' direction >Used every RNG night action available to him to roll for town each day/night >Eventually became the cop role >Realized that if he were lynched as a cop, only two players would remain who could possibly be scum, and one of them would have to be scum, guaranteeing a town win >Willingly sacrificed himself when he wasn't on the lynch block at all at any time before then >One of the two players who could end up scum became super salty and used time machine to try and pull a scum win >Shenanigans ensued >Somehow during town's use of time machine to try and correct/stop scummy player, Jeod became scum aligned >Jeod is already dead but his alignment changed while he was dead, so he could do nothing about it >Town goes "oh well", while super scummy player ends up being town in the end >Jeod is super angry because of a loss he definitely did not deserve
  9. Like it or not this game devolved from an actual mafia game to a game of hot potato where you can give dead players the potato. Not fun.
  10. I won't know any of that until the google docs get released. I will say that I want about a month of my time back.
  11. Probably not, but it sure felt that way. I think that considering my posting and actions towards town victory condition that I should have been locked in as town. ALL of my upa RNG actions were for town. There was an illusion of choice, and had I known from the start that I would turn out to be scum aligned, I would have played for scum and likely scum would have won. The only townies who appeared to have an inkling of understanding about this game's mechanics were me, TheIrishMan, kamuixmod, and Chaos_Knight. If you don't understand how I could possibly feel cheated out of this game, then you shouldn't be playing mafia.
  12. And then I became "collateral damage". It seems like I'm the only one who took player's feelings about their alignment into consideration when making actions. I only went ahead with narrowing scum down to Irish and Voe on D4 because I was told that there was no other way. You ran a huge bastard game centered around a bastard mechanic, Cat5. I'm appalled especially after the Staplefahrer game where you spoke against this exact kind of mechanic in the dead doc:
  13. I'm not counting Retaliation in the scum loss since he was a replacement and Misa didn't seem to care about the game at all. This was a "ensure Jeod loses" game after my efforts to ensure a town victory. Players mostly plan their plays and actions based on their given roles from the start of the game and changing their alignment AFTER THEIR DEATH is a huge sin. From this point forward if there is a single hint of alignment changes of this caliber in a mafia game, I will either refuse to sign up or quit mid-game. What a joke. Salt in the wound: Town wins by eliminating the possibility of the third Rounder, after Cat5 told me it was impossible to do such a thing via Reading Steiner investigations. I straight up attempted to get a "everyone wins" scenario and instead I am the only *****ing loser in this game despite being one of the best players.
  14. CVC: Chaos_Knight voted Nodlied Nodlied voted Chaos_Knight Voe voted Nodlied Nodlied has majority at 2 votes. 12 minutes remain until hammer.
  15. My sides. I trust CK to lock the thread up. Cat5 wouldn't count any votes past hammer anyway though.
