  1. In case it's not clear, in my analysis so far the scum are in the last five players. If I end up townreading too many of them though, then obviously I'll have to take a step back and go over my notes again.
  2. ChopBam Choppy’s said some alarm-bell sounding things, but after reading over his responses to the thread again, I don’t think he’s the guy we want to go after today. Firstly, we know his background is a cameraman for weddings, and we know his scumplay a bit—he doesn’t sit back when he’s scum, and he’s been sitting back a lot. He hasn’t been buddying up with Mojoman, and his bandwagon vote on Alstar can sensibly be interpreted as a play by someone who’s been trying to keep up with the game while being busy with work. His D2 posts have more meat in them, and the in the first one he wants to swap back to the “other” D1 path of lynching Mojoman. I presume this to be him acting on the little information he has at this point, and expect him to be increasingly thoughtful and opinionated throughout the day. They’re obviously not a team, and nobody was defending Mojoman on D1. ChopBam is not on my scumdar. However, ChopBam did ignore KY’s request for PM results. ChopBam, would you oblige? Killing You D1 should be enough to tell anyone this guy’s towny. Not only is Retaliation still alive (I believe he would be the death of the night if KY was scum), but KY believes Alstar is a Flame Tower. Scum does not openly say such remarks, and if KY believes that, then why was Alstar the target? Even if Cat5 was the real night target, KY responded to Cat5’s request for comment re: Mojoman post-mortem. That’s a town play if I’ve ever seen one. OrangeP47 One of his first posts suggests the Allies have a roleblocker—a guess which is correct (see Alstar analysis). I doubt scum would say that if it were true, but let’s move on. I’m seeing a lot of ‘stating the obvious’ near the middle of D1. It made me go “hmm”, but his posts near the end of D1 counter that spidey-sense, and Cat5 semi-townread him. FRAYDO Ded Soviet Engineer, RIP. There are two posts I found that might be the reason FRAYDO was targeted—here and here. The first one can be interpreted as a softclaim. The second is that notorious ‘slip’ that Voe asked for a custom role. Though there’s no language to prove Voe did request such a role, it could still be a reason FRAYDO was killed. Alstar I’m not going to say what role I think Alstar is, but he has a 50/50 chance of being town due to Cat5’s death and being a building. Thus, I believe his claim about being sabotaged by the Allies. Category 5 Thank you for your service. *salute* --- I've yet to analyze the following players, but will get to it after a break for food: Retaliation Chaos_Knight Mojoman TheIrishman Voe
  3. Incorrect. The evidence is on Day 4 in the Allied Doc in APB III. Just woke up, will make larger post soon.
  4. I have no reports. I'd have given them by now if I had. im on mobile in my bed right now, which is why I'm not doing player analysis posts. I'm usually up around 10a EDT on my off days.
  5. Note: I understand how ridiculous my last two posts sound back to back ?. Good thing we all know when we're differentiating in game time v. Real time.
  6. Let's not get trigger happy though. There's plenty of time here and not all have spoken. Plus there's still Mojoman to analyze. I'll get to that tomorrow.
  7. We could get him out of the way before he does damage if we come to believe he's a threat. But we'd have to act today.
  8. I don't think artillery has ever existed before, but I don't think it's here now. Reason being, if there were artillery, then Alstar wouldn't be the target. Right now it's 50/50 that Alstar or Cat5 were the intended targets. Those odds bring the chances of artillery existing to almost zero.
  9. Alrighty, I'm home for the night. Let's get down to business. I think the most likely scenario is that the Allies targeted Alstar, and Cat5 protected him and died in his stead. This was the case in APB III when Nodlied targeted Cat5 (I think?) who was being protected by ChopBam. The Heavy Tank is a bodyguard and will die in place of the one it's protecting, even though the role sheet doesn't specify that. I'm counting Alstar as town for the time being. As for FRAYDO, we have a couple possibilities. He was targeted by a serial killer or, just as likely, he was targeted by a Soviet vigilante due to us suspecting him of a slip. Personally, I think Voe would be someone to target FRAYDO, since FRAYDO was the only one to voice that Voe might have a hostile custom role. I still think Mojoman's trolling around, but I'll analyze his posts more in-depth in the morning.
  10. I'm out and about, I'll respond to the happenings in a few hours.
  11. Not so. Not only did we not mislynch, we also brought out a suspicious bandwagon vote from ChopBam that helps confirm our accusations on a scum team.
  12. It's not "middle" because even after an Engineer resurrects said building, scum will nightkill it again ASAP--especially if it's a Silo.
  13. Not only does this sound like an on-the-fence quip, it's incorrect. Why would a town building dying be the middle option? This is more along the lines of what I've been hunting for. Mojoman, FRAYDO, and Alstar stand out to me, but this statement from Alstar rings the most alarm bells. ##vote Alstar
  14. Gunshots can kill buildings. Lynches only reveal them as such (without alignment). It's too much of a risk.
  15. Day 1 gunshots are a no-no though. Could hit a building and bam.
  16. I'll take a response from FRAYDO about that potential slip before voting.
  17. It's actually pretty easy to interpret which post was meant for whom. ChopBam started off with "any first words, Voe", and then Mojoman rushed to Voe's defense with a troll post, but Voe responded to ChopBam by saying "any last words, ChopBam". Mojoman was flat out ignored. He just has a big ego.
  18. Depends on what you mean by later. I'm not too keen on following my read on Mojoman, and I agree with the sentiment that no-lynching today serves to help the scum.
  19. I'll admit that I didn't pay enough attention to this. Do you consider that a slip from FRAYDO?
  20. My only scumread so far is Mojoman, and it isn't even a scumread. He's just all over the place and not coherent. He did say he would be busy today with a longer day of work, and I also suspect that he's simply treating Day 1 as the "troll phase". It's a weak link, but the only one that stands out so far.
  21. If Voe asked for a custom role, then he likely isn't a silo.
  22. It's a common scare tactic, but rarely done. Voe's said even less than KY today.
  23. Indeed. Interested in hearing from him more, yes. Suspicious enough to vote for him, no. Plus, what more should he even say? We've all put in our opinions on the game setting already.
